The mountain house I'd love to have. During my recent stay in Verecore, a picturesque hamlet of Verrayes in the Aosta Valley, I was pleasantly impressed by the atmosphere of tranquility and natural beauty that surrounds this place. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, it is the perfect retreat for those seeking a break from everyday stress, offering breathtaking views of the valley and pure air that regenerates body and mind. The hamlet is small and authentic, with traditional stone houses that tell the story and culture of the area. The surrounding hikes were spectacular: well-marked trails lead to panoramic points that offer unforgettable views of the region. Every morning I woke up to the sound of nature and a splendid view of the surrounding peaks. In addition, the location is perfect for exploring other locations in the Aosta Valley, being well connected but far enough away from the most touristy routes.

This is a fantastic place for a peaceful getaway from the city. You’ll definitely need your own car to get there, as it takes about half an hour to drive up the mountain from the main road. The views and surrounding nature are absolutely stunning! We visited in early spring and were lucky to experience a beautiful snowfall. While we’re not sure if there are hiking trails very close to the house, the area feels wonderfully private, with only a few other houses nearby. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil. The house has a fireplace, which adds to the cozy charm. We had a bit of trouble getting it started at first (make sure the chimney is clear!), but once it was going, it was warm and inviting. One important note—there are no supermarkets nearby, so be sure to stock up on supplies before heading up the mountain. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Beautiful and cozily furnished accommodation with magnificent alpine panorama right outside the window. Well equipped and quiet location. Shopping a little further away, so you definitely need a car. Guglielmo is very friendly, communicates well and personally made every effort in our case to ensure that we were able to check in on time. We highly recommend him and the place and will be back for sure:)

Brand new house, very clean and comfortable. Warm rooms and beautiful balcony with a view. Comfortable disengagement at the entrance to leave the boots. Public parking nearby. Sandro and Anna are very kind and always available. Very pleasant stay, recommended experience:-)
