Such a wonderful stay! The beds were incredibly comfy, and the place had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was peaceful and serene, with the added bonus of being close to the trees and the river—perfect for a nature escape. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and well-equipped retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy's! The location was great for our daily hiking and adventuring through the redwoods. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after. There are plenty of snacks, tea and coffee and the kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs. There's also a very friendly and cuddly neighborhood cat (shout-out to Rufus!) and even fruit trees on the property, the apples are delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again when back in the area.

This was a perfect stay for exploring the redwoods, and just enjoying some peace and quiet. The wood-burning stove was very powerful once you got it going, and it was fun to maintain. I will say if you do go in the winter months and you run cold, make sure you bring warm clothes/socks/slippers, and maybe extra blankets. It just takes a little while to get the whole house, warm, but expected in the middle of February. The Jacuzzi is a really nice touch, unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy it, but it looked very clean and was kept hot. Also, an ample amount of wood was provided definitely more than enough. The bed was super comfortable and big. Located really close to the trees of mystery which was a super fun thing to experience! Would definitely stay here again, especially during the warmer months.

We had an amazing stay. We rented the room in her house and the tiny home in the backyard because there were three of us. Irene and her partner were warm and welcoming while also giving us the rest and privacy we needed. All the spaces were clean and warm and quiet and accessible. We were so comfortable and at home! Added bonus, her dog Cider is so sweet.
