Enjoyed this spot! Was perfect for our distilling team to get away for the weekend! We can’t wait to visit again next year.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Andrea and Scott's farm. We spent the whole time playing in the yard, enjoying the animals, and feeling at home inside. I personally found sitting in the screened-in front porch to be really relaxing. We truly appreciated how Andrea and Scott educated our family about life on the farm. They graciously allowed us to join in on feeding the animals during an otherwise busy weekend for them, which we appreciated because that was a big part of our reason for choosing their farm. It was precious for the children to collect eggs after meeting the hens. Inside, we thanked our new hen friends for the eggs we ate. Our family has lots of new, fun memories from our weekend at Andrea and Scott's place.

Our stay at Chickie's Roost was fantastic! The property was beautiful and the barn was charming! Our girls absolutely LOVED the horses! Lavonne was an exceptional host - very welcoming and extremely hospitable! We felt right at home, for sure. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Wonderful location just minutes from restaurants. Also, easy access to I-185. Nicely equipped cottage on a beautiful lot. Quiet. If you like animals there is a very friendly cat that will hang out with you and a horse pastured right by the driveway that likes apples and carrots. Dianna is very friendly and responsive. We stayed for eight nights and we don't have a single complaint. If we visit the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again. If you like baseball the cottage is an easy twenty minute drive from the Clingstones parking lot.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The place is on beautiful, well kept land and the Barn itself is comfy and serene. Exactly what we needed and hoped for our Baby-moon. The bed was comfortable and everything was so clean. We loved the chickens on the patio every morning also! So cute. We would absolutely stay here again and again.

Everything went great! We even got to visit with the dog.

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

A fantastic and remote place to recharge! From the moment that Marguerite introduced me to her cabin I felt right at home. The front porch view of the pond was just what I needed to relax after a 4 day conference in Houston. When I return to Texas another stay at the Fossil Tree will be on my today list.

Could not recommend this place more, and definitely plan to come back and visit ❤️ Susie and Doug are just the sweetest people, very accommodating and made us feel right at home. My best friend and her hubby are moving to Texas and I’m helping them move and staying here was such a blessing in so many ways. The ranch is absolutely beautiful and the bunkhouse is decorated so cute, it makes you feel right at home. 😊 Susie even brought us fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Definitely loved staying here, if you’re looking for a warm hug from Texas, Susie and Doug will take good care of you. ❤️ Ps. If you are an animal lover, we fell in love with their ranch dog Bella she greeted us every morning which was too sweet! 🥹

This AirBNB is a PERFECT mix of country on the inside and outside! The back patio was a perfect place to sit, relax, enjoy sunsets and sunrises! We got the pleasure of a symphony of frogs after the heavy spring rain this past week- wow that was incredible! I’ve stayed in many ‘country’ rentals and it’s hard to keep the outside from getting inside (bugs, dirt, etc.) BUT this place did not have any of those problems! A couple reviews noted the stairs as a problem but we did not agree with that- you do have to climb stairs to get to the main area but the patio is completely enclosed and safe for pets and littles!

Our family was very pleased with Kevin’s place ! We were very happy, and didn’t want to go back home .

Our visit to Melissa’s place never disappoints us! Our family loves our stay here! The grandchildren have fond memories of their time here and they look forward to our next visit! The farm is beautiful and we all enjoy the opportunity to feed the animals. In particular, the children love playing with the dogs! Thank you Melissa for all you do to make our stay memorable! PS. We had a bonus during our stay! We met your son and daughter in law and enjoyed sharing some time with them!

Would definitely go back! Both homes were very well cared for, clean, and look just like they do in the photos. The outdoor space is great. The laundry is incredibly useful and the machines are brand new. The beds are comfortable and plentiful! Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Appliances are all in great shape. The porches are great, the fire pits are a great touch, and the pool is awesome. Great place to stay, especially if you’re looking to relax in a quiet location. Host is very proactive and responsive, but you won’t need to reach out because they have everything taken care of before you show up.

The Hunter's Cabin is VERY unique. There are horses, turkeys and curly haired pigs roaming the property. There is also a pond with large catfish. The cabin was well built and furnished appropriately to match the name. This was my favorite of all the places I have stayed in over 15 years of traveling to Kerrville. It was like going back in time for me as I spent a large portion if my life living in Mississippi and working in and around animals. Sitting on the elevated back porch in the morning or evening was the perfect beginning and ending to my day!!

Kourtney went out of her way to accommodate our party with additional requests that I had. She was gracious in all of our communications and extremely flexible. The entire property is just beautiful, and these owners have spent time getting the details right. It is easy to feel that you are in a remote, private setting, when in reality, town is 10-15 minutes away. In addition, when our party walked into the farmhouse, we were immediately met with soothing music, a wonderful fragrance, and a beautiful floral arrangement on the kitchen table. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and spend time with family/friends. We truly enjoyed our time at this amazing property and look forward to booking another stay in the future!

Was clean and cozy and perfect! Stayed so we could walk canton and was the perfect location! If you stay there you should definitely try Seth’s for a place to eat! Great food! Would definitely stay here again ❤️

Fun and unique place to stay. Kitchen was well stocked, and bathroom was nice. Hosts were great and enjoyed the animals!

My stay was so peaceful, and the surroundings were beautiful! I was given very helpful and detailed instructions prior to check-in. The clawfoot tub was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Our family had a great stay. The description was accurate, and were able to roam much of the land. Our boys enjoyed the animals during the day, and the stargazing at night.

Rebecca’s cabin at the G Ranch was a great spot for a peaceful get away in the country. The cabin is off the beaten path but was easy to find with her clear directions. The cabin is cozy and clean and had a nice porch with a view of the property. There was also a nearby picnic table and fire pit with chairs for hanging outside. Rebecca was a great host. She was responsive when messaged and greeted us to walk through the cabin’s amenities when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay. Ideal location. Secluded with all amenities. Will definitely be back. Close to Jacksonville and Rusk. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Dalton’s property is a gem. It was the most picturesque cottage just like in the pictures and has the surroundings. We enjoyed biking and saying hello to the horses on the nearby farm, watching cows graze lazily and laughing with the energetic dog who was eager to match our pace from the other side of a neighboring fence. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the decor was gracefully done. One thing to note is there is no central heating here. We loved the proximity to the gulf coast and enjoyed beach hopping from biloxi to Bay st Louis. New Orleans was just over an hour away and the nearest beach was just a little over 20 minutes away. The restaurants in biloxi, Diamondhead and Bay st Louis deserve special mention. We did have a small leak in the faucet during our stay but Dalton came and fixed it as soon as he could. Overall I think this is a fantastic location and Dalton has done a great job making it a special place to create memories.

This is surely the most unique AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was clean and accommodating. It was very spacious and beautiful. Ridden with lots and lots of history, I could just visualize this house in the 1800s! Truly a neat experience. The farm was beautiful and my family was enjoyed feeding the horses carrots. The location is also central to All the Dallas/Ft. Worth things to do or you can enjoy a quiet getaway.

We had a wonderful stay while shopping at the Spring Round Top show. Highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful stay after busy days of shopping.
