Monthly Rentals in Serpa

Second time in this little paradise. For those who like silence, animals, privacy, this is the perfect place. Perfect for babies/children. The Households are the soul of this place. Mr. Coirinha and wife are super kind and available people. We highly recommend it.

We had an amazing stay. The place was fantastic and pool was wonderful. Our family loved our stay that we will recommend to all our friends.

Our go to accommodation when visiting the Serpa Cheese Festival which is a 10 min walk away. Lovely and clean throughout, everyone is very cheerful and the breakfast at 5 euro each is ample and varied. We had a suite with a huge balcony with views down to the Roman aqueduct. Lovely restaurants just 5 min walk just inside the old walls. You must explore the area as the watch museum and castle are both very interesting. You must try both the Serpa wines and cheeses.

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty.
