Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

The view - no photo of the world can capture this beautiful nature. The house is so nice and quiet even if you have neighbors. Waking up here is dreamy. The apartment is super nice, clean and there is a lot of space for private things. Communication was flawless and check-in was very easy! I think it won't be our last stay here ! Thank you :)

Great place for a group of 8. A very atmospheric place, decorated with simple and aesthetically pleasing, finished with wood. A fireplace in the living room and a large glass exit to the terrace add to the atmosphere. Everything is well organized for self-service check-in and stay. It's important to keep in mind that the trash needs to be taken to a landfill located about a 2-minute drive away. An extra amenity that wasn't mentioned in the description was a large bluetooth speaker. The cottage is close to ski lifts and ice skates. We're back in a year to climb here. If possible, we want to go to Henrik again:)

We stayed with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. The house was handed over to us very clean and the amenities were also top. There are enough plates, pans, etc. We stayed at the house over New Year's Eve and got both very cold days and some snow. The house is very well prepared for this. Despite the hillside location, the path to the house is also easily accessible in snow, as it is cleared by a snow blower several times a day. The sauna and hot tub are real highlights even in winter. We explored the surroundings for walking and sledding. We had a really great few days and would be happy to come back to this beautiful house.

We really enjoyed our winter holidays at Richard and Monica's cottage. The communication with Richards was excellent and he answered all our questions quickly. The house is very well equipped and nicely decorated with love for detail and a cosy place to relax. The possibility for ski-in/out is a great advantage. Another plus was the large terrace with a fantastic view of the beautiful landscape on sunny winter days. All in all, a perfect place to enjoy winter in Rauland . "Tusen takk" to Richard and Monica for their great hospitality. Looking forward to come back!

Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

Easy check-in and great communication with the hostess. The apartment is right in the children's slope. Child friendly. Very poor internet, but for us it was fine that has our own available.

Awesome apartment in the middle of the ski slope. Good standard. All you need in the kitchen. The host Vidar is really service-minded and responds quickly. We'd love to rent here again👍😊

A really nice cabin that was tastefully decorated. Well-equipped kitchen and nice rooms. Very fast and stable internet. The cabin is beautifully located overlooking the lake and with a nice distance to cross-country skiing trails. Snow removal several times a day. The cabin is cozy with many nice and quirky things that we chose to put away a little, as our grandchildren of 2 and 3 years also thought it was nice and exciting :) We had some lovely days in the cabin and the area and would love to come again.

Great, spacious and very well equipped log cabin. The cabin is close to Haukelifjell ski center and a fantastic mountain world and has parking space for 3-4 cars. Sveinung had arranged clearing and it was definitely required. We rented the cabin with an annex and it gave us 7 men very ample bolting space - we could easily be twice as many. There is a very well equipped kitchen and it suited us foody guys very well. The only thing we couldn't do was the stomp. It probably requires even more patient and prolonged firing than the 6 hours we spent. Anyway an incredibly great stay and a nice and accommodating host.

This was our second time booking the cabin and once again our expectations were met for the cabin and the area. We can definitely recommend the cabin. We had a great holiday and the cabin is perfect for a large family or multiple families.

Our stay in this cabin was amazing. The area is perfect for nature lovers. We had snow, minus 20, perfect weather for snowshoeing and langlaufen. On 3 nights we saw the aurora / northern lights from the dam. It was super quiet, almost no other people and the perfect place to go for us.

Great place and beaut view from the terrace. Nearby crosscountry tracks, and only 10 min drive to Slottet. Trygve was always responsive on text and answered immediately. All in all a great stay!

Well worth a visit if you're planning a trip to the Stavtjørn area. Very nice and service minded hosts. The place is great and has lots of room for guests. A good collection of table-top games and dvd's as well. Thanks for a great stay :)

Lovely house in a good location for piste 24 we were two families and it worked well.

We enjoyed 6 days in Martin and Nina's cozy cabin. There were beautiful mountains with snow as far as the eye could see. The cabin was nice and heated when we arrived, and had everything you needed for a week of skiing. Martin responded quickly, friendly, and pleasantly to all inquiries. I hope we get a chance to come back in the future!

The cabin is very nice and cozy. It's new and it has everything you need, especially the kitchen. Torun is very friendly and responsive. She gave us clear instructions, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

We rented a cabin for family trip and the big one for expectations. We were happy with our stay, place and host. Warm recommendations and it tempts to repeat!
