An extraordinary stay and a remarkably excellent host - Gayle's place is the quintessential AirBnb experience! If you are here reading reviews to see if you should stay - you absolutely should. I stayed for a short while on an enlightening trip to visit the surrounding Redwoods and I can't imagine a better location, host, or place to stay. Communication and recommendations were excellent, the location was a perfectly central home base to exploring the Redwood forests in the area, and the cottage is much larger than you might think while being one of the most cozy and pleasant places I've been lucky enough to stay at. This cottage and host are in a league of there own and I fully recommend staying at Gayle's place. In every way imaginable, it is an outstanding place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend while exploring the redwoods. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us, very cute and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens and towels. The cabin felt private and the scenery around the cabin was gorgeous. It is only a short 15 min drive into town and it was perfect, not too close but not too far, very easy to get to. James was very helpful and responsive and check-in/check-out instructions were clear and easy to understand. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this place to anyone staying in the area!
