Holiday rentals with lake access in South Yorkshire

Fantastic stay! Plenty of space to spread out, everything was provided and the house was immaculate, clean & toasty warm. Lovely welcome basket and great recommendations and advice (great meal at the Crown & Anchor & stunning walk to the secret waterfall!) Kids could have stayed on the trampoline all day, adults in the hot tub :) Highly recommend if looking for a cosy home with easy access to Peak District.

I had a fantastic stay at this new-build property. Accessing the keys was straightforward, making check-in hassle-free. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent, with a modern shower that worked perfectly. The place was spotlessly clean, and each of the three single beds was equipped with two towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The heating was great, ensuring the house stayed cosy throughout my stay. Parking right outside the property was incredibly convenient. Prince, the host, was easily contactable and very helpful. Overall, a very pleasant and seamless experience. Highly recommended!

A stunning little sheperds hut in the heart of the peaks. Check in was effortless and the staff were very friendly. The sheperds hut is very well stocked with everything you need and surprisingly a huge amount of plug sockets with usb's. The bed, although a little challenging to get into was very comfy and listening to the stream babbling all night through the bedroom window was very peaceful. The shower room is good and the shower has exceptional pressure and is hot! Overall a lovely and well appointed site with a well stocked little shop as well.

Our stay at Andre and Sarah’s place was lovely. We spent the weekend there and the house felt cozy and homely. The house was well maintained and clean and had everything we needed. Sarah was also very responsive via Airbnb message for any questions we had. Thanks again!

The hideaway hut was perfect, such a beautiful place. We arrived surprising my partner with the overnight stay. We drove in to the feild and the hut was hidden by some trees, as we pass the trees I hear my partners reaction and it was priceless. We went for dinner at the rustic pizza co which I highly reccomend. We came back to an evening of peace and romance sat by the fire and in the hot tub. Stephanie supplied more than enough fire wood at no extra cost and both the log burning hot tub and fire pit were hot/ablaze in less than a couple hours. The sun goes down, the fairy lights come on, I pop the question and now can look back at the perfect proposal for the rest of my life, my now fiànce can vouch for that too. Hats off Stephanie, bravo.

The Shepherd’s hut was cosy, warm and clean. It has spectacular views and set in very calm and peaceful surroundings. Catherine was very good at sending clear instructions and available if we had any questions. I would stay again!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and spotless the home was. It has a real home-away-from-home feel, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Shauny is a fantastic host—super welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help with anything. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making this place special. We had such a great time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in this area. We did not want to leave! Thanks again ♥️
