Barn holiday rentals in Staffordshire

6 families met together here for 6 days and we found The Grange to be a good size for us. There’s an enclosed garden big enough for 5 children and 2 dogs to play in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. There are plenty of places to visit with the children. All in all we had a lovely week.

Gorgeous place to stay. Views from every window. Expect family ducks, chickens and peacock to pay you a visit, and if you hear snoring, it’s probably the large pig outside the window!

Such a wonderful couple of days attending our daughters wedding. Made even more relaxed by staying at Lizzie place. Fantastic directions and info sent in advance. The Old Barn was such a delightful place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful setting, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, even the little dog came in to say hello as we were leaving🥰 I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

We had a lovely stay on Neil's farm. The house is comfortable and the scenery is stunning. Neil is very welcoming and knowledgable, he took the time to show us around the farm and answer all our questions about farming life. He was also very kind to our two year old daughter and she loved her time on the farm.

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.

We stayed for a weekend and it was beautiful. The accommodation was great, facilities, brilliant. I drive a very small car as-well so don't be put off by the steep hill up to the house. I didn't struggle at all! Emma was friendly and really helpful! 100% will book again more than worth the money. We only had one issue, our dog is a teeny one so could get under the gates, but there was enough equipment in the garden to block the small gaps.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Lavender Cottage. The cottage had everything we could need for a relaxing family break and we loved the rural, peaceful setting. We were blessed with lots of sunshine and due to the season were lucky enough to help feed the lambs. Thank you for a wonderful break, we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay with our two pugs, we loved the surroundings and Tina and Martin are so friendly. The chickens, pigs and goats are also very welcoming! Retreat as described with a comfy bed and cosy vibe. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful little cottage which worked well for our family of 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Great location across the road from a cafe and a few minutes walk from a pub. Lots of lovely walks to do from the cottage and easy to park. Cottage was very well equipped, fire was great and thank so much for the welcome pack for us and the dog! Lovely little terrace to watch the sun set from.

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

Me and my son had a great Easter holiday at Michael and Karen’s place. The place has everything you need to feel right at home, with possibility to cook your own food. Michael and Karen are really super hosts, very kind and responsive. Thank you for a great weekend!

We had a fantastic Easter bank holiday weekend at Underbank Camping Barn. We walked 30 miles over three days including The Roaches, Shutlingsloe, Three Shires Head and Hammerton Knoll/Wincle - all straight from the accommodation without having to use the car once! The barn is in really beautiful surroundings, we were so lucky to stay during lambing with lambs just over the garden wall. The walled garden is such a great addition with a lovely patio area, lawn and fire pit. Kitchen facilities are basic but we did manage to cook evening meals for a family of five - you might need bigger pans (induction hob compatible) if there were more than five of you staying but plenty of crockery & cutlery. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot and powerful! Katy was a great host very friendly a d helpful when we asked about local walks. Thank you for a very lovely stay - we hope to visit again in the future.

Great communication and welcome from Sam and his family. Very helpful hosts. Great place to stay for Alton Towers, 10 mins away. The barn is spotless and as described. Spacious bedrooms and lounge and good wifi and outdoor space.

Absolutely beautiful place in a lovely rural location. We couldn’t fault any part of the stay. Would have liked a microwave in the kitchen, but managed. Would have found it difficult without one if we stayed any longer with little ones. The place was spotless and the host was great with communication. If I really had to say anything negative (which is really down to preference) the bed in the main bedroom is a little small for 2 adults. And plenty of room to fit a kingsize. This is purely down to personal preference and sleeping in a superking at home. So a double felt very small, and my husband and I are only small. So imagine this would be tight for anyone larger. Other than that. It was amazing, and would 100% come back.

Beautiful house, lots of space and has everything you need! Couldn't ask for more from an Airbnb - also an excellent location for a wedding at ashes barns just down the road.

Fantastic value for money, a peaceful, unspoilt location with food and walks on your doorstep- no driving required. Lots of personal touches including the welcome basket and the dog box which made us feel at home from the start. Pru and Chris are fantastic hosts striking the perfect balance between helpful and friendly but also providing privacy and space. Some extra special touches were the gin and fizz shed, providing a tranquil end to a relaxing day, overlooking the hills. We took full advantage of the option of a home cooked meal on our first night which was delicious and delivered right to our door. A nearby, dog friendly pub provided an excellent meal for our second night. A perfect get away for 2 busy people and a nervous pooch who loved the open space to run around on, right on our doorstep. We would highly recommend visiting the cottage for a comfortable nights sleep, good food and a peaceful, yet beautiful back drop.

The accommodations were beautiful. The rooms were spacious, clean and appointed with everything we needed. The neighborhood is gorgeous and a pleasure to walk through and explore. And Sam was all we could ask for in a host: warm, friendly and quick to respond whenever we had a question.

We have just come back from a wonderful week at Stoop Farm. We were here as a family of 6, mum, dad and two siblings plus husbands/wives and 2 babies and it was ideal with all the bedrooms being ensuite. The rooms were all spacious, and the lounge/dining area was lovely and sunny. The kitchen was a little small and the dishwasher was only a small one considering it is a house for 6 people, but Richard left plenty of dishwasher tablets so that was fine. The house was lovely and clean, and Richard had left a selection of local food for us to enjoy - cheese, bread, milk, oatcakes, butter, etc. The views from the house were magnificent, and we were exceptionally lucky with the beautiful weather. The house is situated in a very quiet location down a track. There are walks from the doorstep, and Buxton is a nice old fashioned town with a lovely park, and is only a short drive away. I would highly recommend a stay here.

An excellent location and property. Our third stay at Norma’s cottage. The cottage has everything we need in an idyllic spot surrounded by fields and hills. The sitting room and beds are comfortable and the kitchen functional and clean. We will return. Recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

Caroline was very helpful and friendly from the outset. We hired Caroline’s place for a surprise for my partner’s 30th birthday and Caroline let us check in slightly early to decorate which allowed us to create a perfect surprise - we were really grateful. Caroline was communicative throughout and helped with recommending a lovely local restaurant (The Red House) - we had an amazing meal. Caroline also recommended a taxi company who were excellent. The granary itself was a beautiful big space and very well equipped. The kitchen area is stunning with a gorgeous terrace overlooking fields and horses. I would love to come back in the summer to make the most of this! The Granary is so comfortable and cosy with plenty of space! The bedrooms are beautiful and very luxurious, it was brilliant to have an en suite with each room. Our stay at the Granary was very special in a peaceful setting. Caroline is an excellent host and on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to stay again!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Atlow Mill. The property was easily big enough for our family of 10 ranging in age from 2 years to 64. The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - everything that we needed. The location is beautiful with plenty of space to relax and for the children to play. James and Chloe were fantastic hosts - communication was clear and timely. The fact that they live on site meant that they were accessible and responsive. Would love to return again in the future. The information supplied by Paul prior to our arrival was great, the travel directions he provided were super helpful. On arrival Paul met us at the property and showed us the essentials. The property is immaculate, the location is tranquil, felt like a home from home. We would definitely stay again.
