Holiday rentals with a pool in Staffordshire

Swallows cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. We were so glad to have good weather to enjoy the gorgeous patio area with bbq. The kitchen was so well prepared with all the essentials we needed and more. The living room and kitchen are so spacious and we loved the carefully considered decor. Izzy provided excellent info and suggestions locally, and was really responsive to any questions we had. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips.

Wow! What an incredible stay. The swimming pool and steam room were the obvious draw (and they absolutely delivered) but the living space was also a dream. It was comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the location was private and peaceful. The hosts were friendly but gave us enough distance during our trip, though they were responsive and pleasant throughout. WiFi was a little spotty (which we were warned of) but to be honest it didn’t impact us too much as we spent most of our time by the pool anyway! We will definitely be staying again in the future, we couldn’t ask for a better Airbnb 😊

Fantastic find. Already recommended to friends and family. The cottage was really well equipped which was a pleasant surprise, there was even cupcake/yorkshire pudding tins, teapots, washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs. Could more than easily cook a full Sunday roast here. Great swimming pool, games room and play area. Lots of BBQs dotted around for when the weathers a bit better and a field next to the play area for the kids to run around. Great bike storage/repair station. Pub across the room also has a play area in the garden but closes at 8pm during the week so not a late one! You’ll need 3 x £1 coins for washer and 1 x £1 coin for dryer. £1s also needed for pool table/football table. It is a very busy main road directly outside, the road noise wasn’t noticeable within the property but with small children we had to be super cautious walking down to Carsington, so many trucks hammering down the road. Carsington was a fab day out for a walk/cycle/play area/visitor centre/cafe etc

From the moment we made the booking, Brendan our host was in touch to welcome us and if we had any questions just to send him a message. few days before arrival we got joining instrustions, directions to mobile, where the mobile was located. A full video of the mobile to show us the layout as well as where everything was stored. Mobile was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was as well equiped as my own house. Even got basic essentials such as ketchup, salt pepper etc. Park itself was lovely and quiet well kept. Swimmng pool was a great bonus kids really enjoyed it! Reception staff was so friendly and helpful. No even 5 mins drive into closest town Ashbourne. Lovely chinese and chip shop at very reasonable prices! Highly recommend to stay here if considering going to alton towers. We done 2 days at Alton Towers which was 20 mins drive away. Will definately stay here again.

Beautiful accomodation and grounds, friendly hosts.

We truly enjoyed our stay here, it's definitely one of the best places we have stayed in on airbnb.. With the site set in beautiful countryside - Margarets caravan is in a nice position on the edge of the site so not at all busy with other visitors passing to & fro. The caravan has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and was really clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped - all you need to prepare pretty much any type of meal you like.  We had a swim in the onsite swimming pool and enjoyed playing on the park; there was easy cycling access onto the Tissington trail without having to use the main roads. Maggie was very helpful and responsive - even phoning to let us know it was ready and had a word of advice for our route to get there. Margaret clearly loves her retreat - and so will you!

We had a fantastic break away as a family of four—two adults and two teenagers. The accommodation was lovely and just perfect for our needs: clean, comfortable, and cosy. A thoughtful touch was the selection of board games, which came in really handy on a rainy evening and brought out everyone’s competitive side! The location is ideal for exploring some of Derbyshire’s most scenic spots. It’s right next to the Tissington cycle path, which was great for a family ride, and it's also perfectly placed for a day out at Alton Towers. The hosts were brilliant—friendly and thoughtful. We didn’t really need anything during our stay, but they checked in via message to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable getaway, thank you.

Quirky little place. Clean, kitchen has everything you need to make a few small meals. Great view from the hot tub. Good location. And very tasty cake left for our arrival.

Would highly recommend. The accommodation was exactly as advertised and with the bonus of a swimming pool. Great location with beautiful views and some lovely walks. The local pub has EV Charging points which was also a bonus. Couldn’t thank the hosts enough for their kindness when we needed them. Overall a lovely stay.
