The property was clean, quirky and homely which was just what we expected. We already knew the location well and there were plenty of shops, eateries and supermarkets. It was just what our family needed to be together in the evenings after a family bereavement. Jane was lovely, friendly and very responsive despite being abroad at the time. There was everything you could wish for provided and a great dining room with drinks fridge for eating together. Thanks Jane for letting us stay in your unique home.❤️

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Great place to spend a few days! Amazing location to The Ashes Barn wedding venue as well as lovely local parks. The accommodation was small but adequate, loved the porch area for all bags and dog stuff! Bedroom definitely big enough for a travel cot and a plus having a bath to clean the little one! Have recommended it to others already :)

Stable Cottage is a fantastic little getaway, set in the beautiful peak district countryside - incredible views all around. Close to some wonderful small places for visits, Bakewell, Buxton, Hartington and Leek are all nearby and quick to get to.

Excellent host and really helpful. Great property with plenty of space including a games room. There isnt loads to do near by but we walked 20 mins to a pub for food and some drinks one night which was doable and had a take away one night. There is a closer pub just opposite but wasn’t serving food in the evening. Really convenient for Alton Towers. My only complaint is one toilet for 7 of us was a problem particularly in the mornings and there was going to be 9 of us which would of been a nightmare. The second bathroom really needs a toilet to make the house more manageable with so many people staying and needing to use the toilet. Lovely weekend, great cottage and excellent host

Michelle helped us with any questions we had also decorated the house for my wife birthday along with leaving Easter eggs for the children’s and goodie bags for the dogs. Felt home from home. This was our second visit to Barn Cottage, it was just as lovely as the first! The cottage is cosy, extremely well furnished, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Jackie is a brilliant host, so much attention to detail in terms of making the cottage perfect in every way! We’d definitely recommend Barn Cottage and we’ll be visiting again!

Emma’s place is simply wonderful. This is the most *homey* home away from home we’ve ever stayed (and we’ve loved all our AirBnB stays!) We were so incredibly comfortable from the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left. There were MANY extras we wouldn’t normally find (even in other 5* stays) and appreciated these greatly. Super comfy beds, fantastic location, very modern; couldn’t ask for more. After the slightest hiccup with the hot water, Emma went over and above to address it immediately (and permanently). She couldn’t have done more to make us feel settled and comfortable. Emma is very approachable and friendly. A highly recommended host and property! We chose to stay here to be close to Drayton Manor (12mins away) and had the best day. Coming back to such a cosy and comfortable home after a long day was the best tonic. We’d return without hesitation!

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Swallows cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. We were so glad to have good weather to enjoy the gorgeous patio area with bbq. The kitchen was so well prepared with all the essentials we needed and more. The living room and kitchen are so spacious and we loved the carefully considered decor. Izzy provided excellent info and suggestions locally, and was really responsive to any questions we had. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips.

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful, peaceful, hidden gem! We arrived early & the accommodation was ready. It was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy & linen beautiful. Lots of lovely touches that made it home from home. We loved every minute of our stay in Sarah's accommodation, everything was easy to find/use as her instructions were perfect. We will be recommending her place to family/friends for sure. If you are looking for a place to stay away from hustle & bustle this is it! Ideally located for walking/cycling, not far from the Dovedale stepping stones. Highly recommend for all 😃

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

A Beautiful restoration of a 19th century chapel . My grandchildren thrived in the huge rooms & giant sofa & So many hiding places! My daughter relaxed in the pool & sauna . It was a perfect break Thankyou Samantha

I absolutely loved Lucy's home, its in a lovely area with the pub in walking distance , aswell as many others in local villages like Wirksworth and Matlock. This house had everything needed for a relaxing long weekend with the dog so couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for being a brilliant host, I look forward to coming back soon

A real hideaway, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The surrounding landscape is lovely and The Lodge has views over both the church and the yurts. Sarah was always available to communicate with online and in person which made the whole trip feel friendly and meant that we learned the best places to eat! The hot tub was fab. There is a lovely farm with cafe just over the road and good pubs to eat at. We visited both Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall whilst there, both well worth the visit.

Laura and Adam were good host's communication was very good,very clean and tidy and a beautiful part of the world,we look forward to returning for another enjoyable break.

Celebrated Husband’s 50th birthday with our family. Fantastic accommodation, don’t feel the pictures do it justice. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly need. Village lovely to walk around, good choice of shops and pubs. Communication good and prompt. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. Eraine was once again a super responsive host!! The location of the cabin is so private and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely return!!

Thank you Jane, Welcomed upon arrival. We’d had a long journey & Jane came over briefly and explained everything to us concisely & wished us a lovely stay! Superb location that included beautiful strolls along the fields! Great for walking & getting lost in the beautiful scenery. Jane’s place was spotless! Bedding & towels were lovely. Could not find one downside anywhere. The waterfall Three Shires is a five minute drive (cafe along the roadside). We parked up & took a lovely hour stroll to find it! Our first trip to a waterfall & not the last. Very attractive place & great location. The village of Leek was around a 10 minute drive & has everything in it that you need! Thank you Jane.

Loved our stay here! Annexe is just as described and such a good location. Zoe and Ian were so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this lovely place!
