2nd time staying with Poppy, a lovely Host, super cool, and an amazing place, nice and relaxed. This time met her 2 little sheep who are the funniest little things and will come and say hello to you ! I learned a bit more about the location this time and theres an amazing walking pathway out of the village, super for a dog walk. Great stay will be back ! x

Lovely cottage, very peaceful village location, with plenty of walks from the door. Lots of wildlife to be seen including Red Kites. Friendly local pub serving great food and regular, reliable bus service to Shaftesbury and Salisbury. James and his family, were brilliant hosts - helpful and communicative.

Karen's Dovecote is a remarkable place to stay. Everything about it has been so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The bed is huge and very comfortable with lovely bedding. The surroundings are a haven of peace, tranquility and beauty. We loved meeting the horses and the little doggies. Karen was a fantastic host, who gave great recommendations on where to visit and where to eat. One feels so refreshed after staying here, we recommend it very highly.

We went to Broad chalk for an evening away to do some long distance running around the countryside. The village is wonderful and the walks and runs in the surrounding area are challenging with spectacular landscape and really good trails. The village had a brilliant pub and community shop and coffee shop/cafe. Our stay was very enjoyable and the room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had a really good amenities and the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely hot shower after a long run! Beautiful garden.
