Monthly Rentals in Suze-la-Rousse

"Mas Maré" (as Odile and Fred called the place) at high tide… the gentle rustling of the wind in the leaves of the white oak tree… the light crackling of the branches in the azure, the chirping of small birds… in the space a flutter of wings… the intoxicating scents of the woods after the rain… the ethereal breadth of the cistus, the greenery of the laurels, the rosemary… the light of the broom… and… the discreet presence, available however, of Fred and Odile… sometimes (if by chance you try a detour😉!) the surprise of a boar's growl… At low tide… the nightingale's song, the owl's magical call in half sleep… the alignment of Odile's potted seedlings, which tilt their shadow on the small side... For the rest (practical side) everything is also perfect… beautiful, sober, functional.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is in a great location, with nearby shops.

We had a wonderful week in this fantastic home. Communication with Anaïs in advance went very smoothly and a few days in advance we got a handy booklet with lots of information about arrival, the region, markets, restaurants,... Upon arrival, we were really impressed. The reality was even better than the pictures. We have enjoyed the blissful courtyard. Ideal for this period of the year. The garden and swimming pool were also great. A little fresh but already used by the brave among us. We had a wonderful time. The house itself was also quite nice and equipped with sufficient and good crockery. We would have liked to stay here a week longer.

Two families with two small children: we enjoyed our stay at Sophie's who was very welcoming and gave good advice on activities to do nearby. The explanations about the listing are also very clear. The only small downside with small children: the large staircase that leads to the bedrooms, but we knew that when we came. With this long sunny weekend we were also able to generously enjoy the terrace and large grounds that belong to the owner of the premises. We would therefore recommend Sophie's place.
