Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Syracuse

What I was looking for and my 2 dogs where very happy.. I would go again

Vincenzo and his wife were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. They welcomed me as a friend and took good care of their Airbnb. The home has a modern amenities and plenty of space to park a car. The area around Gallina has a lot of swimming options and the house is a few minutes to the highway if you want to go north to Catania or Siracusa or south to Modica and Scicli.

Large and comfortable place, very clean. Very convenient to all neighboring beaches. Close to downtown and parking under the house is always available. I highly recommend it to all guests.

Very friendly and helpful host. Excellent location of the apartment, a ten-minute walk from the historic center. In winter, the heat pump is enough for the bedrooms and therefore an additional heating system (present) was required for the other rooms. I recommend parking in the square nearby and not along the street

This was such a cute airbnb! The hosts were super friendly. Met the owner at a restaurant randomly and she was such a sweetheart! Very close to the beach. Perfect for a little weekend get away. A few restaurants nearby. Not alot to do close to the airbnb, but it was perfect for us who wanted to get out of town. Super cute neighbourhood. The Airbnb was clean. We were allowed to bring our little puppy without any issues. She loved the backyard! I totally recommend for those who want a quiet and cozy place to stay. 10/10! ❤️

Everything was absolutely amazing! Would recommend this home to anyone thinking of coming to Siracusa and would definitely like to book this accommodation again next time! Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Federica's home ❣️ It is actually small house you have to yourself, with amazing terrace, lovely and big bedroom with balcony and sooo comfortable bed with lots of pillows, sufficient kichen where is possible to cook almost everything as there is a stove and small oven as well, big fridge and freezer 👍 and dining room with big table and couch to crash on while watching TV 😉 Location is absolutely perfect, few mins walk to the beach, bus stop around a corner with perfect connection to Catania, Noto, Syracuse and more, exquisite butcher on the corner is a must as well as tiny bakery and fishmonger around a corner ☝️ There is a pizza place next door with excellent pizza and very nice seating setting right outside your door, open late, so if you are light sleeper as me, bring your earplugs and you will be fine 😉 Last, but not least, Federica is such a darling, very friendly, helpful and kind host and beautiful person ❤️ Absolutely recommended ❤️

Roberto was incredibly responsive from the very beginning. The house is truly magical, surrounded by stunning lemon, orange, and mandarin groves that create the most beautiful and peaceful landscape. Roberto provided a super helpful local guide filled with great recommendations and even welcomed us with a basket of fresh Sicilian local products :) The house is exactly as shown in the pictures – if not better! It comes with thoughtful extras like a barbecue and a fully equipped kitchen. One of the highlights was being able to pick fresh lemons, oranges, and mandarins straight from the trees (and fresh eggs) – which made breakfast-time really special ;) Highly recommend staying here! Noto is just a short drive away and full of great restaurants, supermarkets, and everything you might need. Plus, the location is perfect for exploring some of the most charming towns in Sicily, all within easy reach. Would definitely recommend it and go back again!

Salvatore is a reliable host. He was flexible when we needed an extra night due to changes in flight schedules and he offered us the possibility to store our baggage in the apartment for a few hours after check-out. We spent a lovely 10 days in Syracuse and enjoyed the views form the balcony.

A very spacious and stylishly decorated apartment in a prime location. We liked how the decor blended historic elements with a modern vibe. Very clean, excellent AC and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this spot in Ortygia!

We enjoyed our stay at Cesare’s apartment. It worked very well for our group of four friends. Easy walk into Ortigia. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and smart bathrooms with good showers. We had a small problem that Cesare sorted out for us very quickly. All our communication was very good throughout. We found the apartment quiet despite being in the centre of Siracusa. Parking is quite difficult in the city but we managed to park on street fairly close to the apartment. Overall, highly recommended.

With lovely restaurants just a short walk away and the calming presence of the water nearby, it’s an ideal location for a peaceful retreat while still being close to everything you need. The atmosphere is serene and intimate, making it a perfect place to unwind while soaking in the beauty of Ortigia.

The apartment by the sea is very bright and spacious, it is easy to park at the bottom of the building. The host's recommendations are detailed and helpful. Highly recommend this apartment!

Marcella is a warm and responsive host. She allowed us to check in very early and her place was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.

First row of houses by the sea. Small mini sand beach and stairs 20 m away. Ideal for sea lovers. Beautiful, spacious veranda (if you stand, you can see the sea). Small 1-room apartment with kitchenette; ideal for breakfasts and small meals. When the weather is nice, a great apartment. Ideal for visiting Ortegia/Syracuse/Noto. A car is necessary for everything (restaurant/shopping/excursions). Robin was very committed to giving you good tips. We enjoyed quiet days with a lot of swimming and short trips to Ortigia.

Thanks to a great info about late hour, we were able to do a self-check-in and found a wonderfully preheated apartment, which is brilliant at the time of year. Siracusa showed itself from the most beautiful side and so we could also enjoy the wonderful roof terrace, where we could also experience the turn of the year. Fireworks all around, nice atmosphere and then it was quiet again. Francesco's apartment is lovingly and functionally furnished. We were very comfortable and welcome. Thank you! Bea&Chris

Our stay at casa Celeste was terrific. Damiano and Adda’s apartment is perfect with all the comforts of home. And that’s exactly how it felt - like staying in someone’s home. Damiano was a great host and super responsive. The apartment was about a 20 minute walk to the historic centre but we actually enjoyed the all especially after lovely dinners out. Great spot for exploring the area - 20 drive to Marzamemi and 35 min to Siracusa. We also explored the beaches and our favourite was the Lido di Noto. We headed to e end of the beach where there’s tons of parking and it was very clean. Hope to be back again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ortigia at Maria Theresa’s lovely apartment and we would definitely love to return some day! The description on the website is very accurate and if anything the apartment exceeds expectations so all around a wonderful place to stay.

Elena and Mimmo are great hosts. We arrived late in the day and we were tired and hungry. Elena had provided home cooked (delicious) food, fruit, milk, bread and cheese. A very nice gesture! Mimmo gave us an excellent review of everything in the home and recommendations for restaurants. There is an internet-enabled TV and reliable wi-fi. It is an easy walk to the Archeological Park (25 minutes) and Ortegia Island (about 20 minutes). Driving in Syracusa is “difficult”, so it was great to have a place to park when we arrived, but we didn’t move the car after that since we could walk to everything. It was very easy to communicate with Elena and Mimmo and they were very accommodating with arrival and departure arrangements. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace each morning where we could see the sea. A really nice experience. We had a great stay!

We had a lovely stay in Syracuze, great city with a lot to see. We slept 2 nights at Casa Smile. Great location, close to Ortigia, and close to free parking (by the kids playground). Luigi and his wife welcomed us, left us some breakfast for the kids and gave us recomendations for sightseeing. The bathroom shower is maybe a bit outdated, but everything was clean, and nice. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Cristina is an exceptional and diligent host. Great instructions and support on getting to and around the flat, very communicative and made every effort to make my mum and I comfortable. She helped make our first time in Sicily smooth and hassle-free, and we are very grateful.
