Incredible hosts, always responded quickly and always came in person to help us with anything we needed when asked, but always made an effort to not intrude. The lodge itself is spacious yet cozy, and also clean. There were loads of dvds and board games to keep us occupied. The outside area was lovely, and well sheltered to accommodate for all weather. The pizza oven was a great bonus and easy to use. Clear instructions for everything around the lodge. Lots of local amenities as listed by the hosts.

The cottage was exactly as described, in a very peaceful location. The cottage was clean and well stocked! Stephen was very helpful and responded to messages very quickly! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely long weekend at Anna’s Coach House celebrating my mum’s 60th with my family. There was something for everyone including our 3 toddlers. Grounds were beautiful & the house smelt lovely & clean. Anna was very responsive & helpful during the lead up to the stay as well as during our stay. The only slight negative myself and my guests had was that upon booking we had expectations that some things would be included in the price as it was shown in the photographs (hot tub, extra fire wood,electric charger for example) but these were all at an additional costs that we were unknown about when originally booking. There were a few logs but didn’t last more than half an evening. Apart from this everything was lovely & we would recommend Anna’s Coach House.

Jill’s listing was a stunning place to stay. A real home away from home. It was even better than described with the most gorgeous surroundings. Nicely kitted out place with everything you’d need from films to bathrobes. Definitely recommend

Our host reached out to check in on our arrival, making sure we were settled and knew how to use the amenities, including the hot tub. There were five of us, and the space was perfect for both cooking and relaxing. We were also given great recommendations for the local beach and a good chippy, plus the beach itself was lovely and sandy. The property is about a 30-40 minute drive from the city center but is surrounded by smaller towns, perfect for supporting local business at the Christmas markets or seal watching. I'd definitely return—it's in a great location with a lovely host.

A stunning building in a peaceful location. Chic and comfortable. Loved the fact it was heated by a ground source heat pump - we were cosy in the middle of winter.

Just spent a lovely Christmas at heathers beautiful cottage.very well equipped,thoughtful gift basket left for us.spotlessly clean.amazing hot tub,so peaceful and amazing views.had a lovely Christmas Eve at Tattershall farm park,about 20 minutes drive away.if your looking for getaway from it all with family,this is definitely the place for you. Perfect hosts who made us and our dog feel welcome from the outset. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Wonderful open views at the back of the property where we spotted owls, deer and pheasants. The house was very well equipped with everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Comfy cosy beds and lovely big lounge area to kick back and watch telly or read. Very pet friendly with field at the back for dog to have a walk and a sniff. Everything you could need for either a quiet weekend break or a longer stay. We spent a month at the house and it just flew by. Would definitely want to stay again , village just a mile or so up the road where there is a great selection of small independent shops, a garage and a Nature reserve. It was a perfect break for us , lovely spot, wonderful house and perfect hosts!

What a lovely, cosy cottage. It was beautifully presented with fresh flowers, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome cake, Prosecco and milk were really thoughtful touches and gratefully received. Communication from our hosts was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dog Cottage and can’t wait to visit again.

We had a lovely time at Nick and Liz’s cottage with our kids. It was a great base to explore around Norfolk. The view across the fields was really peaceful. Liz was really helpful with local recommendations for pubs and places to explore.

Chris and Melissa's barn and gardens were just fabulous. My young family and young dog had a really wonderful night away there and really appreciate the fire being lit before our arrival. It was stylish, comfortable and Luna had a furry friend to say hello to on arrival. We even had a fluttering of snow which made it feel like a proper holiday escape! A huge thank you to Chris and Melissa for everything.

The kitchen was well stocked with many appliances to cook with and there were lots of added items that help with cooking. The house is charming and comfortable. Thank you Liz!

Just wow! The cosiest, most beautiful cottage, close by to shops and beach we didn’t need to use the car. Went on the Norfolk light express which was magical, then back to put the fire on, feeling very festive. Thankyou Fiona we will be back!

Our 4th stay here and loved it once again! Perfect location to enjoy this incredible part of the country. House is great as always and Sophie was on hand to help when needed. Already booked to come back later this year!

Perfect for us, a fabulous place, charming yet wonderfully quirky, just as we like. Beautifully quiet and calm. Some great furnishings and extremely well presented with a lovely little open fire adding to the character and ambience. The space outside is great especially, if like us, you have a dog and we were super fortunate to get 19 degrees of warmth on the 22nd of Feb so spent most of the day outside! I would highly recommend this holiday let. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing place Shepley House is! We had a great family time and enjoyed the place very much. The attention to details is lovely (hamper on arrival with card, dog towels, wood for the burner, everything you can think about and need in the kitchen!). The garden and woods are beautiful and the whole place has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We had few questions during our stay and the communication was quick and helpful. Thank you so much to the Shepley team, we made some great memories to cherish! We recommend this place with no hesitation!

Steve was a great host and the accommodation was ideal for our young children especially this time of the year. The accommodation had everything from coffee to cleaning products, and was very clean. We definitely recommend. Thank you!

The house was fabulous. Plenty of space for our families to spend time together but not be in each others faces. The entire place was perfect for us! Only downside (if you can even call it that!) was that the tv in the main lounge was not a smart TV and we only had access to free view! However there was a range of DVDs available, some of which didn’t work very well though! The hot tub was FANTASTIC!!! Well worth the price we paid for the visit.

We absolutely loved our stay in Augusta Dreams, absolutely beautiful lodge, set in an idylic spot overlooking the lake and golf course! We arrived on the friday to a welcome bottle of bubbly in the fridge, we cooked in the lodge that evening and our friends arrived on the Saturday, we had breakfast in the lodge and ate out at The Barn and The Dabbling Duck for the other 2 evenings very lovely, we visited Worzals Garden Centre, Bar and Grill on the Monday and the boys played golf as the course was shut over the weekend due to the weather!! Our friends were just as impressed with the lodge and vista!! Everything we needed was catered for!! The lodge is incredibly spacious, private and very tranquil, even during "Storm Bert", we barely noticed the wind for most of the stay, only the strong gusts were noticeble really!! Marc was very quick in responding to any queries and sharing information!! Thanks again Marc, we look forward to another stay soon!! Nikki, Bri, Kay and Paul from Essex.

Lovely few days away. Perfect break, close enough to everything we wanted but far enough away to be at peace in the hot tub with a drink & book. Very helpful, not that we needed them but were on hand if a problem had arisen. We will be back
