We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs and as described.

Stayed at the house for New Year with our family of 4 children aged between 4 and 15.. Perfect location, within walking distance to sea front and all local amenities. The house had everything we needed and catered for all ages! Stuart was very helpful from the moment we booked and was able to recommend things to do for New Year’s Eve! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Another great stay at Gull’s Cry. A beautiful area, even out of season. Property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a well equipped kitchen.

A lovely, cosy home that felt like a home away from home. Dog-friendly with a garden, and just a short drive to the beach for scenic walks. Brixham town and other parts of Devon were easy to explore. Had a fantastic time—thank you!

Perfect space for what we needed! Lovely big living room and kitchen/dinning room where the family could spend time together, great and secure outdoor area for our dog. Close to the harbour but away from all the hustle and bustle. There is a hill to get to the property but keeps fit when walking. Claire was a great host! She was very responsive and sent over all the information we needed to feel welcome and comfortable, will definitely be looking to stay here again on our next family visit

Exactly as described. Beautiful, cosy house, close to local town and harbour - perfect for a short get away. Finding the house was a little challenging, but when I re-read instructions and used the w3w, the directions were spot on. Very clean and bright - would recommend!

Fantastic place managed by a fantastic host. Kelly was always on hand to respond to any questions prior to arrival. There was no need to reach out to Kelly during our stay as everything was as promised. The house also included special touches such as towels for wet dogs. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Such a lovely break away. We were there on a surprise weekend and Angela was so supportive in helping with the surprise that she even let us park our cars at her home so the birthday girl didnt suspect the entire family was inside waiting for her. Angela was very reaponsive to all questions we had prior and during our stay. Lovely house and lovely surroundings, very spacious for all of us (10 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs!). Thank you so much! X

We had a long weekend stay with family and the location and cottage was absolutely beautiful. Geoff was a really friendly and helpful host. The swimming pool and play facilities were brilliant, massive pool that was really warm and easy to book etc. the house was pristine, well stocked and comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We were not able to stay in Maxine’s Caravan due to works being carried out, so were put into an equivalent Hoburne caravan which suited us just fine. Maxine was informative and responsive and considering we booked last minute, was very quick to sort out the replacement caravan and entertainment passes. Great campsite with plenty to do- kids enjoyed the park, indoor pool and the evening entertainment. Worked well for us as we were booking sat-tues and you can’t do that through Hoburne directly. Paignton is a lovely area with different beaches, the pier and Torquay harbour to explore.

Berry cottage; our Christmas miracle. It is very comfortable and cosy with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, we even booked an extra 2 nights.

Lesley was a great host, upon arrival we were met with a lovely basket of goodies and milk in the fridge which was most appreciated. Lesley also had the home from home things that you don’t always remember to pack such as loo roll, washing up liquid etc, the kitchen was perfect for our family, enough pots and pans and the air fryer was also a additional bonus. The only mark down would be that the van doesn’t have central heating as such only fan heating that you have to switch on so where it’s out of season and the weather isn’t great it was slightly chilly in the mornings. Overall we had a lovely time and I would recommend to others.

Very spacious lounge/kitchen area with an homely and comfortable feel. It was exactly as expected, the main bedroom was also spacious with lots of storage space, however the second bedroom was good for children but a bit small for adults as my brothers legs were hanging out at the end of the bed. The only other minor things were that the sun did not shine on the balcony due to other caravans/trees etc, but it could have been due to time of year (last 2 weeks of September) as we did have sunny weather for time of year but it didn't reach the balcony. Additionally the road was behind where the bedrooms were so you did get road noise quite late at night.

Enjoyable stay perfect for the dog.

Honestly a little gem! It was so peaceful, I had a morning brew in the garden each morning with all the birds singing around me. The cottage is so cosy that we spent every evening in!! The location is ideal, we were no where near the hustle and bustle but central enough for a short car journey each way for a day out. The cottage was so clean and tidy, with the welcome addition of a hamper each for my husband and I and then one for our dog Dexter. The hosts thought of absolutely everything! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway where your furry love one is safe and welcome and you all feel at home then this is the one!!

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas! Beautiful house and outstanding location, perfect for long walks to recharge. We walked to Dartmouth on Christmas Eve, catching the ferry back to Dittisham and a chance to see the many seals close up, resting on the pontoon by the pier. The Ferry Inn was packed with friendly locals after our Christmas dip at Blackpool Sands. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and serve a full Christmas dinner for the family. A perfect holiday - thank you.

Great hosts and lovely home in a great location, easy enough to walk into the town. (the hill isn't as steep as it looks) So spacious and very comfortable rooms! Lovely welcome pack and essentials, my son made full use of the hot chocolates! as did I, with the prosecco! It was a lovely place to spend New Year.

We stayed at Stephen’s place for 2 nights and it was perfect for us. Very clean and tidy, felt very easy to get comfortable. Would 100% stay again. Great host.

I booked this accommodation for a 2 night stay with my little dog. We arrived slightly early and the host was more than happy for me to check in when I arrived. The instructions on how to get into the accommodation are very clear and the hosts came and introduced themselves as I was unloading my car which is a nice little touch to meet them in person. The accommodation is lovely, the annex has everything you would need for a short stay. The garden is very private and was perfect for the dog to have some space to roam around along with some seating for when the weathers nice. I would definitely book this accommodation again :)

A perfect weekend away for children, dog and I. The flat felt very homely, clean and welcoming. We loved all the extra little touches especially the pastries! Although it was dog friendly it didn’t smell of dog at all. So thoughtfully set up. Beds were incredibly comfortable. The children are all keen to return! Thank you
