We loved our stay at Diana’s place, it’s so homely, picturesque and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the 2 minute stroll to the lovely local pub. We used the house as a base for trips to Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coast and it was perfect, it’s cosy and had everything we needed. The beds were also very comfy and we all slept well (inc kids and their grandmother!) I’m allergic to dogs (the property is dog friendly) and I messaged Diana who reassured me that she’d do a thorough clean and I didn’t have a problem. We would definitely recommend.

We loved Tudor Rose Cottage. The cottage itself was well equipped, super clean, comfortable and felt like a home from home. The patio was gorgeous and Denise had obviously gone to lengths to plant some lovely pots and daffodils. The patio furniture was great and meant we could sun and vino in the south facing garden. The kitchen was well equipped and she had left some lovely goodies for us to snaffle. Stourpaine itself is quiet, so don't book it if you like bars and restaurants... Luckily for us we love quiet. The trails are literally on the doorstep and we were able to walk for miles. There is a pub, which we had a drink at and the food on neighbouring plates looked great. The coast is about 30 to 40 minutes and Durdle Door was well worth a trip (but be prepared for your eyeballs to be ripped out with the carpark charge). Blandford Forum is very close and has a Lidl and M&S, perfect for both budgets. Our dog Chilli also had a lovely stay. Thank you Denise for sharing!! X

Superb cottage for our short stay. Extremely clean and clutter free, with lots of charm and all the facilities you might need. Jo was an excellent host, greeting us on arrival and settling us in. Felt very “at home” and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
