Monthly Rentals in Welches Beach

What a wonderful place to stay! Couldn't ask for more! Liz's place is in an ideal location - grocery store is literally across the street, a fun restaurant 2 doors down and the best part is being beachfront to enjoy the sand and the turquoise waters 24/7! The kitchen was super clean, well stocked with all the necessities, and even little touches of providing coffee, tea, ice cubes made and a pitcher of delicious Barbados water awaiting in the fridge. The bed was comfy and the bedroom had ample space for luggage, with closet and dresser, desk and lots of electrical outlets - even phone charger outlets. It is on the main road, but the sounds of traffic can't be heard out on the deck, and it quiets down at night. Little Lex checked us in and out, and drove us to the airport. The cleaner Joyanne gave us a great refresh mid-week and we were fortunate enough to meet Liz - she was absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved staying at 48 Hythe Gardens. Alexis went above and beyond to help us out, getting the air con fixed as soon as there was an issue and arranging a late check out where it was possible. It's incredibly close to Oistins fish fry which suited us perfectly as we ate at Pat's place almost every night, and the pool was gorgeous & serene with all the wildlife (Monkeys, hummingbirds, etc) We also really got on with our upstairs neighbours who frequently book the place, which definitely added to our experience. One thing I don't see on any other review is how good the fridge/freezer is, so make sure you make good use of freezing your water & rum punch for your beach trips. Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

Lory’s home was not only beautiful, but conveniently close to all of the action in Oistins but away enough to have peace and quiet. I can’t say enough how clean her home was ! The floors were spotless and never felt anything under my feet or saw anything that wasn’t pristine (I usually feel the need to do a quick cleaning to feel comfortable but not here). The home was very secure with a locked gate and she provided plenty keys. Lory was responsive and so kind as well as very helpful when I came across some problems of my own on the island and I can’t thank her enough for problem solving so quickly and efficiently. Definitely at the top of my list for the best place I’ve ever stayed at. She has things I would’ve never thought would be provided such as a first aid kit, lots of toiletries, and much much more. Barbados is my home and she made it feel like exactly that. 100% would stay there again and absolutely recommending anyone who wants a comfortable stay, to stay here.
