Holiday rentals with a beach view in California

I loved staying at Ann’s house. The location was perfect, the pictures looked just like the house and it was extremely comfortable. All of the little touches, like providing a makeup mirror in the bathroom and games/puzzles in the closet, were much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

Very happy with Heidi and Chuck’s place. Felt like home, amazingly clean and welcoming place. The view is wonderful, ocean is near by. House has everything we needed, our room was delightful and perfectly clean, close distance to the restaurants and stunning sunsets Thank you Heidi and Chuck for your lovely Dana Point house! 😊

Melanie’s place is truly one of a kind, and Melanie is an A+ host. I can’t recommend her spot highly enough. The room matches the pictures precisely—it’s clean, homey, spacious, has tons of storage space, and has a delightfully comfortable bed. Beyond the room, the rest of the living space is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is clean and well-stocked, and the washer/dryer are terrific. But the real gem of the apartment is Melanie. Melanie is gracious, warm, kind, considerate, and thoughtful. She ensures that your stay is comfortable and relaxing, including by sharing food, drink, and her artwork. I’ve never felt more at home in an Airbnb, and I will definitely be returning to Melanie’s spot. Thank you, Melanie!

Angela may be the best host I've ever had! She is super warm and welcoming, and her place is gorgeous and well set up. Couldn't pick a better location to be close to the best beach town in Socal, Redondo! Perfect place to walk to the Redondo pier or go for a job on the Strand. A+

We enjoyed our stay, the place is very close to the beach and the boardwalk! Our kids enjoyed the cozy family room and the garage stocked with beach toys!

We stayed at Franks place for 5 days while my husband recuperated from surgery. We loved the quiet/peaceful garden space and the ability to pop over to the beach or park easily. Great water pressure in the shower and a comfortable bed made our stay very enjoyable. The neighborhood has just about everything you might need in walking distance and it feels away from the hustle and bustle of LA but close enough when needed.

This was our third stay at The Shack! If you're traveling to the peninsula, the price for this location cannot be beat — walkable to Pavilions, the beach (including the boardwalk), Lido, and so many fantastic restaurants. The condo is clean, comfortable, and offers great people watching from its second-story vantage. Will continue to recommend!

What a beautiful and clean space in such peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect place for my family and I to unwind and enjoy our mini vacation.

My daughter and I take a trip to Newport every year for spring break. This was one of the most memorable. I’m from Newport so I’m well aware of what makes a great property and experience. Pam did not miss one detail. The bikes, beach gear, coolers, wagons, toys, and everything else she provided were SO NICE to have. Most Airbnb’s don’t go above and beyond with all the extras like she does and it was so appreciated. Thank you, Pam!

My family had a great stay. The condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The location was amazing, everything was walkable - close to the beach, a nice trail around a lagoon and a playground. The host was proactive in giving us information and everything in the condo was in nice condition. We hope to visit again.

absolutely STUNNING!!!! pictures do not do this place justice and the waves that crash up makes the world's most peaceful sleep!!! My husband LOVED the shower the water pressure was the best and the water got super hot! beds were comfy, everything was clean and neat, parking was private and everything was exceptional!! thank you so much

What an AMAZING place! Desiree has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. Our contact/host (Shannon) was he best - she communicated with us every step of the way to be sure our stay was seamless. She met us at the place and gave us all the details. Bigger Fish is a dream location but the house itself is set up beautifully - to the crisp clean linens and dreamy beds, the very clean floors bathrooms and well stocked kitchen, lovely decor, and really amazing upper deck - this place has it all. We will be back!!

Perfection. We enjoyed everything about our stay in suite 3. The apartment is well fitted out and is very comfortable. We enjoyed sipping sundowners on the balcony and soothing comfort listening to the lapping waves underneath. The hosts are super responsive and ready to help whenever needed. We’ll definitely be back !!!
