We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

We had the most relaxing, gorgeous time. A beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. All you can hear is birdsong. A true retreat with the hot tub and whirlpool bath. We were lucky enough to experience beautiful weather as well. Didnt want to leave! 💕

The Stone House is ideal for large family gatherings and special events. The Cabin and children's rooms made it easier to cater for the full spectrum of family members and generations. comfortable and relaxed that felt like a home away from home. A well equipped kitchen and warm rooms.

We have stayed in a lot of glamping spots but this is the best place we have ever stayed! The tree house was comfortable and cosy and the amenities were fantastic. The hot tub was great and we had a really peaceful few days. The kids had a wonderful time roaming around between the play area and the swings in the woods (when they weren’t in the hot tub!). So many little touch’s made it extra special like ample amount of wood for the fire, the electric blankets on every bed and even the air fryer! The kids loved the cubby hole and the top double bunk above it and spent time nesting there also. Perfect place for days on the beach or just relaxing on the balcony with a good book. Just returned from a wonderful stay at Serendipity. The views are unbeatable and the house feels so luxurious, modern, clean and so much space and light. Huge open plan kitchen, living, dining overlooking a pristine patio with outdoor cooker and large seating area overlooking endless countryside with plenty of wildlife. Upper level had a wonderful hot tub, easy to use and with the same beautiful view. Great location, quiet and peaceful and a short drive to various beautiful coastal villages and National Park. We would definitely return, the house was perfect and Mark a fantastic host. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay, made very welcome, plenty of goodies, had to leave some! Spectacular views, especially from the hot tub. Sheila & Martin are the perfect hosts. Highly recommend. Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need for the 4 of us (3 humans & a 4 legged friend)

Lovely spacious cottage for two (which is also perfectly set up for dogs) right above a popular beach at Portwrinkle. Beautiful location and very convenient for anyone wanting to get away to Cornwall with their dogs. It’s very close to the beach which is dog friendly (but gets quite busy) or there are local headland path walks. Cottage had a comfy king sized bed and pretty much everything you need for a few days away. Plenty of localish (drive required) choice if you want to eat out and everything you need if you want to eat in. Large parking space right outside the front door makes unpacking very easy.

First of all i want to say how beautiful the cottage is, it is a lovely cottage to stay in like home from home, did not need anything, all there for you, really comfortable bed, the garden was inclosed and peaceful, the cottage was lovely and clean, and very cosy in the evenings, James & Isabel left us some local biscuits and milk, which was needed after nearly 5 and 1/2 traveling! lovely hot drink we were blessed with beautiful weather, visited Lyme Regis which was not too far away to travel, West Bay, Weymouth, Beer and Seaton did quite a bit Thank you for letting us share this beautiful cottage, would definitely stay there again Anna & James from Bedford

This is a perfect cottage in a perfect spot. We have loved coming here again. Everything was great with the accomodation, well equiped, comfy beds, love the log burner, really appreciate the parking permit. Nothing negative to say, wish I lived here. Thanks for a great stay.

Having booked holiday accommodation around the world for decades, we can honestly report that Fish Cottage rates amongst the very best. Blissfully peaceful, extremely well equipped, stacked with books and, served with good broadband, set in a fabulously planted garden and - glory of glories - no TV. Who could conceivably wish for more?

We had a wonderful stay at Tracey and Simon’s place. Really enjoyed our time and would love to return. Four of us were comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the living space and the outside seating area where we had our coffee and breakfast, overlooking the valley. Tracey was very welcoming and informative and we appreciated her local knowledge. Can’t go wrong with this place!

First class in every respect. An amazing property in an amazing location. A fantastic village with a good pub and shop, all locals very helpful and friendly. The setting is simply stunning. Extremely beautiful. As for the location, you are short distances away from Looe, Polperro and Fowey, so something for everyone. The property provides everything that you need and is finished to a high standard. It is spacious and open plan. Parking is fine also. If the tide is in (and a spring tide...) you can access the barn and it's parking slot on the driveway via a tight lane from the village/pub end. Not suitable for larger cars and SUVs etc and probably best to time the access around tide times. When the tide is out and/or is not high, there is parking on the lower access road directly in front of the property. All in all a lovely stay and we did not want to leave! With thanks to Kate for making it such a great experience. Kate is an excellent communicator and host.

We loved our stay. We only used the generator for a couple of hours a day but other than that it was beautiful candlelight and the warmth of the fire. The location couldn't have been more what we were after. A perfect secluded retreat to celebrate a 40th birthday, a short drive to the gorgeous SW Coast Path.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pictures do not do this place justice, as it is much bigger than the pictures show. The annex was very clean and spotless. Ian & Katka (Hosts) were very proactive, friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile. The swimspa and hot tub are an absolute amazing feature of the property along with the balcony and views. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

The Potting Shed is the perfect place to stay. The accommodation is well laid out and tucked away. Sam and Karen are friendly hosts but respect your privacy. We enjoyed sitting in the orchard area and were lucky with the weather. We walked to The Leather and Lace pub (10 min walk through the village), where we enjoyed a delicious burger. The pub is so interesting, full of retro accessories. The beer was well kept too. We enjoyed walking in the local area, visiting Glastonbury and walking further afield. Thank you Karen and Sam for your warm welcome and our generous goody basket, milk and local apple juice. We would definitely like to return. Mel and Simon

the stay was wonderful very peaceful and a loverly setting. however when attending the local Supermarket for provisions on both occasions the shop and staff within stunk of drugs to the point where I mentioned to the assistant/ shop manager of the smell who retorted that "well I can't stand the stink of wine". clearly the smell of drugs is acceptable to the users and staff which I find abhorrent. we therefore spent the remainder of our break away from the local town and stopped using as a convenient place to purchase provisions. other places of interest and areas which were within driving so this did not spoil our break and enjoyment of our stay.....

The 4th time we’ve stayed at Little Burston. The cottage has everything you need, is lovely and peaceful and private. Carol is a great host and responds promptly to any issues. A lovely stay as usual.

Iona and Paul were really welcoming and very accommodating hosts. The property is beautifully situated in a pretty village - walkable to the sea, with two good pubs nearby. Lovely gardens and use of a pool (with a sea view). Clean and comfortable beds. We will be back ! Thank you.

Just come back from Mistletoe Farm after celebrating a Hen weekend there. We all could not fault the hosts, they were incredible & always checking if we needed anything, so helpful throughout the whole stay. Mistletoe Farm is beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty to do within the property. We all especially loved the pool/hot tub & also the karaoke machine was a big hit. It really is the perfect place either for celebrating a special occasion or a family weekend. We all enjoyed our stay & said it is a place we would love to go back to. Thank you again to the amazing hosts. Would highly recommend this air b&b 😊

A lovely spacious accommodation near to lovely seaside towns. The beach within walking distance is beautiful. A great base to explore the Devon coast.
