Brockram Barn is simply stunning. We had a wonderful family holiday - there was everything we could possibly want, and more! Of course, the hot tub and table tennis were fun extras, but Harriet had thought of everything and equipped the home to an extremely high standard and, as a family of five, we had plenty of space. We loved the area and did many of the suggested walks and activities, plus a few more! It was so good to be amongst the sheep, surrounded by green fields and wildlife with beautiful, ever-changing views. Thank you, Harriet and family, for a truly great time!

We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. We had the best weekend staying here - the place was lovely, had absolutely everything you need, with Christmas decorations giving it a lovely touch! Blimey, we loved this. I am tempted to tell everyone about it but we want it all to ourselves! We had such a holiday, great kitchen, big open central space, luxury beds, amazing showers, fabulous decking area with massive window / door, hot tub, the indoor barbeque (which we called the pudding hut, we want one!), the outdoor fire, the walks, the ease of getting into Alston. Struggling to find anything to fault, maybe only the sound travelling between the lounge and bedrooms. Just recommend earplugs and going to bed at the same time!

Maple cottage fitted our needs perfectly and Caroline and her associates were very friendly and helpful with any requests we made. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation bonus!

Lovely little cabin in the country of Yorkshire, close to Dalby forest. The cabin comes equipped with everything you would need. The highlight is the hot tub. If you turn off the fairy lights, the stars are visible through the sky. Perfect area to stay as its in between towns and not too far of a drive for shops etc but still out of the way to be peaceful. The cabin is at the back of a property, which isn't too far away so not as private as I initially anticipated, however with that being said it's a lovely place to stay and I would recommend ☺️

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

Fabulous house for our family to catch up and spend time together Clean and well presented. Private secure garden for our dogs Great amenities. Handy to walk into the centre of Helmsley for a range of restaurants. Walks from the house. Never drove anywhere all weekend. Will return

Susan was a lovely host and we loved our cosy stay at the comfy and clean cottage. Great for the dog and baby, loved seeing the animals. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. A bargain stay!

Thank you! We had a great stay. We felt very welcome. We feel great affection for the ‘Barn on the Bay’ as our daughter got married there two years ago and we still felt the warmth! It’s also a glorious location for sunrises, sunsets and the skylarks singing above! Thanks again xx

We absolutely loved our stay here, one of our favourite places! The surrounding area is gorgeous, the cottage set right on the bank of a stream with walks both ways. Peaceful, quiet and surprisingly spacious for a 2 bed! Not to mention spotlessly clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will certainly be back.

We loved it so much the first time we stayed here, we went back again. It doesn't disappoint. It's location is beautiful and peaceful, yet close to all the fantastic trappings the North Yorkshire Moors are famous for, whether that is a visit to the coast or an Abbey or one of many beautiful historic towns. We will be going back again!

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

We booked this venue to help my parents celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. We needed accomodation for some guests and areas that were accessible for the elderly. I had not realised that the venue is two completely separate units, so on arrival I was a little disappointed, as only one of the living areas was accessible for most of the guests. However, it is such a wonderful building with enough open space that we were able to have the celebration in one of the units and just used the other for the bedrooms only. I certainly would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to visit the area or as we did, hold a small celebration (20 guests) Thank you William for providing a very comfortable and well equipped venue.

West Cottage perfect for a family of 4 with 2 boys, looking to get out into the countryside and explore the area. Beautiful location, photos don’t do it justice, surrounded by green hills, sheep and with a brook below the garden. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves which meant we could use the wave machine, hot tub and games room whenever we wanted after days out. Also enjoyed having our meals out on the lawn. Cottage had all we needed, comfy beds and kitchen well-equipped.

We loved the remoteness of the cottage, the peace & quiet. Loved the pool & hot tub which is a must if we don't stay coastal.You definitely need a car to access any shops as the nearest shop is 2.3 miles and this closes at 5. No pubs within walking distance and some pubs only opened certain days and opened at 6. However that's what makes the place attractive & peaceful. Lots of places to visit with 10 mile radius. Great walks and historical sites to see. Beautiful landscape. Cottage was very snug & comfortable.

Spacious and warm cottage in a great location for exploring beautiful Northumberland. Bellingham is a great place to stay with pubs, places to eat, co-op, butchers, etc. We loved the Hareshaw Linn walk to the waterfall, followed by a visit to Tea on The Train, which is a fun way to have lunch on an old Inter City train carriage! Kielder Observatory is only 30 minutes away for unbeatable stargazing. What a fantastic trip! We will look for Norma's cottage again on our next visit to Northumberland.
