Wonderful stay! The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Liz was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless! Highly recommend for a relaxing, comfortable, friendly and hassle-free experience!

Chris is a friendly and accommodating host. Communications were excellent. The little bouquet of flowers over the sink was a nice touch. The accommodation is very well equipped, and has a personal touch. You feel like you are staying where someone actually lives comfortably (and where you can be comfortable during your stay). The kitchen has not only a full array of the equipment needed to prepare meals but also a broad supply of basic foodstuffs which Chris generously makes available to her guests. Halifax has plenty of restaurants, which we enjoyed, but just as often we enjoyed our home cooked meals at Chris's place. Chris's place is very convenient. A bus line stops just outside the house and driving to almost anywhere in the Halifax area is easy. And in Halifax, having reserved parking is a real perk.

This place was absolutely perfect. I had to come to Halifax for work and could not have picked a better spot to spend my 2 weeks. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable sleeping arrangements I have ever stayed in! There is plenty of space to unpack and some storage to get the suitcases out of the way. Lindsay is responsive, easy going and very helpful. I was working a lot of nights and had not problems sleeping during the day as the neighborhood is quiet and the house is well sound insulated. Can hear the odd footsteps and people upstairs but nothing loud. The kitchen is well stocked and has almost anything you could need. Laundry, recycling and garbage readily available. The location is quiet, peaceful and easy to get to with a car. This place is a gem and I will for sure be booking it when I come back for work again.

Great place to stay for a single person. Close to all amenities. Cozy, and comfortable.
