Great place to stay in cute half-timbered house. Lovingly renovated. A recommendation for these lovely hosts!

Ortenberg has become my new go-to place when I need a break. Every time, Jolanta and Hans Dieter surprise me with new friendly gestures. This time you drove me to the train when it turned out that there were no buses running on Sundays. Arrival by bus and train is possible, but also the altitude meter from the village center to Airbnb, by car/e-bike much more relaxed ;) but you are quickly in nature and have a beautiful view. Good shopping (Edeka, Rossmann, Penny, bakery, small restaurants/snacks) are on site. The apartment itself offers everything you need : a modern bathroom, plenty of storage space, well-equipped kitchen (with dishwasher🎉) and I even mean to have spied on a raclette iron in the back of the closet. If you get cold quickly, I recommend bringing slippers in the colder months, otherwise top notch. I would be happy to come back.

I felt very comfortable in Liane's apartment. Everything was clean and cozy - it was like a little home. Surroundings is quiet and you have beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. I can recommend the apartment in good conscience.

I've been to Heike and Axel before and this time everything was perfect. ☺️
