Monthly Rentals in Iowa City

Very cozy walkout basement apartment. Completely separate from the main house with its own furnace and washer and dryer. The main floor of the house is made out of poured concrete so you cannot hear anything above you. The apartment opens onto the backyard that abuts a ravine. We saw deer, a muskrat and lots of squirrel and birds. Great location slightly off the main campus area but downtown was easily accessible. The apartment is clean and modern. We have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs (we are travelling indefinitely) and I cannot think of one that was more thoughtfully stocked. Extra toothpaste and tooth brushes; a coffeemaker and coffee; extra towels; candies; toilet paper an paper towels; etc. Highly recommended place to stay in Iowa City.

My husband was a patient at the U of Iowa hospital. This place was like a 5 minute drive or less to the hospital. I felt safe and was glad to have full sized kitchen appliances to cook evening meals. Staci was very quick to answer my questions.

Jose’s place was great, with lots of room and lots and lots of supplies that you may need. I would certainly stay there again!

This historic home is lovingly restored, spacious, and quiet, and Julie is thoughtful, friendly, flexible, and responsive. The unit is even better than pictured — the furniture has been updated, and it's much brighter and more homey than the images reflect. There were no onerous check-out procedures either (such a time saver, and a nice customer-service touch to boot) and I would absolutely stay again.
