Really easy to find. Really comfortable. Great host. All that we needed for a great break. Durham 10 minutes away.

Great spot! The location could not have been more perfect for walking to family members in the area and shopping. House was ideal for our family of 4. The Christmas decorations made us feel right at home as we were so far away from Arizona. House was very clean as well. Thank you for being so responsive.

Lovely little house in a very quiet cul de sac. Very easy to find and to get in. It was lovely to arrive with the heating and a light on. A lovely welcome basket of treat for myself and husband and a lovely jar of treats for our cocker spaniel she loved being included 💞 so Jo’s place is extremely dog friendly not dog tolerated like some :-)) Hot water was plentiful and a good shower. Own parking space. Jo was extremely kind as she gave us an early check in and then a lovely surprise to offer us a late check out - thank you so much 😊 It’s a perfect location for visiting Durham but also for a peaceful retreat just for relaxing 😌 We would certainly recommend and would love to stay again if in the area :-))) xx

The house is just lovely, there is everything you could want in the kitchen to use. The best bit was watching tv in The bath after a long day out. Waking up to the sea and galloping horses from your patio window is a definite plus from us. Anywhere you want to go is easily accessible, the dogs loved being on the beach and meeting dog friends. We took our doggy stopper for the stairs to stop our dogs going upstairs. Absolutely brilliant stay and we would definitely book again Thank you

what a lovely, stylish house this was and deceivingly spacious. we loved how close to the beach this was and the beach was just beautiful even in winter. Grant was very helpful in letting us have an early check in as we arrived earlier than expected. A great experience from start to finish x

Lovely cosy little place, good that there was the access to the garden as our dogs are quite large and that extra space outside helped. As she mentions in instructions, it is a little confusing re post code but she explains well to find where we needed to be. Easy to get into town too, thank you Lottie

What a lovely home- clean and tidy, modern and spacious. The house had everything you could possibly need, super fluffy towels and comfortable beds. Friendly and responsive host who sent very helpful and clear messages. We would definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Anthony’s house felt like being at home. It was peaceful with beautiful trees and greenery to the front and back. On arrival there were pick and mix bags of sweets for my children (which they loved) and a welcome message with milk in the fridge and dressing gowns for the adults. The heating had been put on as well which was a kind touch. It was warm and the open fire was fantastic with logs and everything needed. The water was hot for great showers and baths. There were so many interesting pieces in Anthony’s house which made for interesting chats with my children and an interesting place to stay. Close to Durham for an afternoon visit as well as bigger places such as Gateshead/ Newcastle. Attention to detail and response to any questions was excellent. Thank you.

We had an amazing family break. The morning walks along the beach were a great start to the day. We didn’t use any of the on site amenities as it was off season but were not disappointed with the local amenities less than a 10 minute drive away. We hope to return later in the year.

Lovely caravan - easy check-in with lockbox, and parking space next to caravan. Lots of extra thoughtful touches inside that made it feel very home-from-home (board games, DVDs, even a jar of biscuits!), extra blankets, lovingly decorated, and the essentials were there too so we could get comfortable straight away (I’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t even one toilet roll, hand soap, or washing up liquid!) The location was nice, The view out of the lounge window of the sea was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site shop etc obviously wasn’t open as it’s out of season, but local shops are a short drive away. Two toilets is a lifesaver with children. The two doors into the main bathroom from the hall and the master bedroom gave us a giggle as I thought it was a cupboard - remember to lock both doors if using the main toilet haha! But space-wise, it is a clever idea. Midday checkout was really useful too, less rush! Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

Caravan was immaculate and very homely loved the added touches. The Seaview was a bonus as the children loved it. Our family enjoyed our Christmas in the caravan was a lovely experience. Would definately recommend to others. Great host 5*.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

We booked for only 2 nights with not much notice. Great set up for the 3 of us. Could have spent longer there. Not easy to find initially but Jamie responded with remarkable swiftness! Appreciated the flexibility on check out as well. All good.

We really enjoyed our stay in Claire's family caravan. The Christmas decorations made it feel festive and the chocolates for our daughters and the biscuits she provided for us were a lovely touch. The kitchen was very well equipped and the caravan was cosy and in excellent condition. Claire was very responsive, helpful and keen for us to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We could not have wished for a better host/stay in Whitley Bay- Sarah as well as her place was just fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Check in was super easy and Sarah's communication was incredible. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and having a great stay. The caravan was just as described/ pictured, it was clean and very comfortable. I would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!!!

Excellent in every respect. Superb quality of fittings. Garden perfect for dogs.

Close quarters was very cosy for us both and our westie . Extremely clean and everything needed for a comfortable stay . Bed was very comfortable so good night sleep . Amenities very close and short drive to Amble and Warkworth . Would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to family and friends . Me and my partner absolutely loved staying here! The chapel though beautifully renovated has kept all its traditional charm. The hosts were super friendly and it’s the perfect historic base to explore the surrounding areas and Newcastle itself. We will definitely be coming back! ✨

Apartment was as shown on the website. Very clean and tidy Towels and bed linen were spotless. Being mid February when we stayed we needed the central heating on and it proved adequate John was in touch regularly to see if we had any problems Sybil, our dog loved the outside space and the walks in the nearby Roker Park and onto the beach. A very enjoyable stay

Gemma was really great in helping us last minute with the booking. We would stay again when we come north.

The Bungalow was comfortable, immaculately clean, and very cosy. Stephen was incredibly helpful and communicative. The property had all the amenities we could have needed and all cleaning products etc, just excellent!

A gorgeous house in beautiful gardens and surroundings. More than big enough for 8 of us and our dog with plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Vanessa was the perfect host, very friendly, responsive and helpful! We’d love to stay again!
