Monthly Rentals in Sinclairs Island

Very comfortable place in a quaint little fishing village in Chance harbor. Beautifully kept, adequately stocked kitchen, amble space and walking distance to a beautiful beach on the Northumberland strait. The backyard was private with a firepit and chairs to relax in the evening.

Everything worked out perfectly for this visit. I was traveling with two ninety-plus year olds, my father and my uncle, on what will likely be a last visit to old family heritage places, including centuries old gravestones and churches founded by my ancestors. Shelby’s place provided us each with our own room for three nights, including a room on the ground floor for my uncle who is quite frail and doesn’t do well with stairs. The little treats left for guests, and the coffee, were much appreciated. If ever I am back in New Glasgow, I will definitely stay here. It’s only a block away from my grandmother’s home where she was born and raised. I didn’t know that when I booked it. Many old memories were restored.

This place served as a perfect launching point between landing in Halifax Airport and starting a trip along the Cabot Trail! The space is cozy, clean, and cute. The location is also excellent for stopping at the nearby grocery store to stock up on food for the trip. Sharlene was very generous in her offer of an earlier check in, so we could rest after our red eye flight. She was also very responsive for any questions we had. We would love to stay here again and will keep it in mind for future trips!

This place is a little slice of Heaven. It was perfect. The hot tub was amazing!!! Only complaint we have is we wish we could have stayed longer lol The place was really clean, very responsive hosts. We would definitely love to come back . I highly recommend staying here Cathy & Jon
