We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

There were 5 of us (including a toddler) in Bjarnes house and we had a wonderful time. The location of the house is absolutely perfect if you want peace, nature and proximity to the sea. The hot tub is of course a highlight, especially at. Sunset to relax. We had everything we needed in the house and enough space. Communication with Bjarne was also always impeccable. We can only recommend the house:)

The place is just a dream come true. The location is beautiful and everything you need is available in the house. Communication with the hosts was great and they were always quick to respond. By car, you can reach Bergen in 40 minutes and thus have the proximity to the city but also the great nature right outside the front door. From the hot tub we could even see the northern lights. We will definitely be back!
