Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Derbyshire

Really enjoyed our stay in Alton and the cottage provided everything we needed for the long weekend. Sam also really helpful leading up to and during our stay. Great surrounding walks/trails plus some really good pubs within a stones throw of the cottage.

This was our second stay with Rebecca and it was just as good as our first. The Nanny Goat Rest, is an ideal place for a time away. We liked having a key safe which enabled us to turn up whenever it was convenient. All the facilities were clean and up to a good standard.

Do you want top end luxury?...then this is the place. Everything from the welcome to the accomodation was 1st class. Would recommend to anyone.

we stayed here as a family of 7 with 5 kids in tow. we chose this place due to its location to alton towers and cadbury world. arrival was really easy as I had been sent clear instructions upon booking. on first glance the house was clean. However, my 5 kids with their little hands were finding bits and bobs that had been left from previous guests. from a plastic bottle to some boobie pads (that's what my kids called them) but I just swiftly binned these and it didn't cause any problems. the wifi was a bit hit and miss. The amenities were fantastic!! the garden was lovely to sit in with nice garden furniture. big TV in master bedroom and living room, with everything on. The hot water wasn't coming through one morning, I contacted the host and within 10 minutes someone was round and sorted it. Hosts were very responsive throughout our stay. we loved it here and will look to come back again!!! thank you for letting us stay at your lovely place 😊

Myself and my husband had such a lovely relaxing time at the Shepherds Hut. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed and Joanne was such a great host. She even left us a homemade fruit loaf for my husbands birthday, some milk and butter which was so lovely! We walked to the local pub The Swan Inn too which is highly recommended & only about 10/15 minutes walk. We had a fantastic stay and would love to go back sometime.

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

I had a brilliant stay at Svetlana’s place. She communicated kindly before and during my stay. Check in was flexible and she greeted me kindly to show me around the property and how everything worked. The property is immaculately clean. It’s well heated and has everything you can wish for. From Sky on a huge TV to a washing machine and heated towel rail. Svetlana kindly left me cereal, milk and fruit for breakfast to start my days. The property is based on a cul de sac so it’s nice and peaceful too. I had a wonderful time and it’s truly a great experience and I look forward to returning again in the future.
