Holiday rentals with beach access in East Sussex

Great space. Being so close to the sea front was amazing. Lovely host.

Not to mention how caring and thoughtful the hosts are. I really appreciated all the information and availability from start to finish. It had everything you needed including hot water bottles! We had a great stay. I chose the place for the view and wasn't disappointed. The flat is well appointed and a great place to walk along the sea front. We relaxed in the lounge as a family in the evenings. There is on street parking outside the property where you can park for free. We used the nearby train station rather than walk to the old town in Hastings but there were also plenty of buses.

It was a good place to stay. I am really avid cook and so could have used with bit more upscale kitchen items, but other than that it was a solid and good place to stay

We rented the apartment for 6 of us to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday. Very comfortable, clean and great location for exploring St Leonards and Hastings. Easy roadside parking outside the apartment. Lovely beach and easy walking distance for exploring. Especially loved Hastings old town, St Leonards galleries and the Goat for lunch and cocktails on the beach is a must.

Just returned from a family trip staying at sandy toes. Had an awesome time, accommodation was amazing lots of room for 6 adults and 1 German shepherd who all had a ball. Definitely will return 👍👍 thanks Lisa 😘😘

Absolutely lovely stay at this lovely property. Mark was always very quick to respond and very helpful. The house is feels homely so it’s easy to settle in quickly. Great location and lovely views. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandpipers. The bungalow had everything we needed, with high-spec finishes, luxurious linen, towels, and incredibly comfortable beds. The space was spotless, cozy, and all on one level, which was perfect for my elderly parents. The lounge and sofa were a bit of a tight squeeze, but we were only four people, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The private, secluded garden was a lovely bonus for relaxing outdoors. The hosts were fantastic—very responsive and helpful. We had one small question during our stay, and it was answered instantly. We also enjoyed dining in Rye every evening—just 10 minutes away—where we discovered some great restaurants. All in all, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend Sandpipers for a well-equipped stay near the beach!

Good value and most importantly, Alka who I think works with Bijou was the most responsive and helpful host I’ve experienced on Airbnb. Alka even helped with the heating externally which I really appreciated because my dad is 70 years old with Parkinson’s. Thank you so much Alka and team.

We had such an amazing stay at Ben’s flat - the view is so so lovely so we made food to eat and watch the sunset both nights. The flat is close to all the great restaurants and bars in st Leonard’s and along the sea front which was so perfect - we loved Selkie and the Goat ledge on the sea. The beds were very comfortable and the flat has everything you could need :) thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dominka and Lucas’s place. They were great to communicate with and the house is as described, and an easy walk to the beach. D&L left lots of bits to use at the beach - cricket set, wind break, buckets and spades etc - that was a real bonus and they’d also left a basket of goodies with snacks, which our kids loved. The hot tub and pool table were a fab addition to our weekend and everything easy to find/ use. We loved Camber and will definitely use this home as our base again.

The property was lovely and really well kitted out. A central location that is within walking distance of the beach, bars and restaurants. David’s communication was great from start to finish.

Philip is a great host! Very friendly and helpful. He provided a beautiful welcome basket for us and some milk in the fridge. The apartment is very spacious with comfy sofas, and has a lovely outlook onto the seafront. Great shower and hot water aplenty. It’s situated far enough away from the bustle of the city, but within walking distance of everything we needed for our short break. There’s a good range of restaurants and take outs nearby too. All in all a lovely stay in Brighton.

Our time at Anna’s place was absolutely wonderful. The views are unbelievable, especially being able to see the sea from bed. The place is nicely decorated and the sofa is super comfortable! Some milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were also there on arrival, a thoughtful touch. The wifi was a bit slow and the shower hose could be a bit longer to make showering in the bath easier, but honestly these are the only improvements I can think of - it was a fantastic stay and we would happily stay again! Anna was also extremely helpful and kind, with quick responses to messages, clear instructions and helpful recommendations for local places to eat. Highly recommend!

Great location near shops and restaurants. Only 20 minute walk to city centre, but also close to lots of bus routes. Well equipped flat with great view of the sea, and spacious living areas. Really pleased to find condiments, tea, coffee, washing up liquid etc.

Kimberley’s flat was a beautiful place to relax on the south coast with sea views. The decor is exceptional and full of character which made the stay even more enjoyable and the kitchen and bathroom are both well equipped. She was extremely responsive and helpful and was a fantastic host!

Had a great time in Simon's Apartment, would stay there again :)
