Highly recommend this absolutely beautiful place, one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at . So beautifully designed . It’s also in a perfect location to discover Rye . Peaceful and yet in the centre of town . We didn’t want to leave !

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, nice and warm, and exactly as listed. A quiet location and dog friendly. Thoughtful host who left a little welcome basket of bits and had good communication. We intend to rebook next time we’re back in Brighton.

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve had with Airbnb. We loved Sam’s house from the spacious living room and dining room that could seat several families to the gorgeous backyard and extra rooms with en suite bathrooms in the back. We will definitely be back!

Tracy and Mark’s place in St Leonards on Sea is absolutely lovely. The house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable – we all felt right at home straight away. The garden is a real bonus too – a sunny spot perfect for eating or relaxing with a cup of tea or glass of wine. There were loads of interesting books and board games, if only we'd had more time! Our hosts were very kind, helpful and responsive. St Leonards itself is a great spot for a short break. It’s right on the sea, with a really creative and laid-back vibe. There are loads of great places to eat and drink, and plenty of art and interesting shops to explore. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Thanks again, Tracy and Mark!

Thank you Andrea we had an amazing stay. We were 8 adults (2 who have some difficulties walking due to recent surgeries) and 2 kids and the house worked well for us. It was easily walkable to the beach and the garden was a treat particularly for the Easter egg hunt. Very soft beds too.

Had a wonderful time at Gabby's house . It felt so welcoming, peaceful, clean and loved. Gabby was excellent at communicating and always helpful. It took about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Brighton with cafes and pubs on the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great house, home from home, everything we needed, plenty of space for our older children, briiliant location for buses all over the area so no need to take the car, shops very near for supplies and the fish and chips near the house were fabulous. Would happily stay again, thank you.

Fabulous week, swallows nest cottage was lovely and the swimming pool was great, we were the only ones in there each time. Chris even opened the pool early for us which was much appreciated. Used the steam room too and the fabulous hot tub - had fabulous walks with our two spaniels, along the coast to Firehills was our favourite. The Cove pub was amazing, very dog friendly, warm (log fire) and welcoming, food fantastic. All in all a really lovely week. Chris and Erik very ready to help but totally happy to leave you to enjoy their lovely gardens etc. We’ll be back! Thank you Chris and Erik

We had a really lovely stay. The house is in a peaceful, private spot in the countryside and was perfect for a break from the city. There was plenty to keep our 3-year-old entertained, especially the trampoline and tent in the garden. The local pub is just a short drive away and serves great food. The hosts were friendly and helpful, with excellent communication throughout. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly getaway.

This place was great, peaceful and fun all in one. Perfect location for our 2 families to spend our birthday celebrations. Games room was great for the whole family as was the hot tub! Lovely grounds for a walk and great entertaining area both inside and out. Host was super friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

Caroline's cottage was so peaceful and beautiful, set in a gorgeous setting. Caroline provided groceries for a cooked breakfast as well as croissants, which was a great touch and saved us the issue of finding local shops etc. It was lovely waking up to bird song. We loved the way Caroline's ducks came to greet us as we set off each day. Thank you Caroline for responding to any enquiries so swiftly too. Your cottage was so cosy and comfortable.

We had an amazing 3 nights with our small family! The caravan is great, well laid out, equipped and clean. Great selection of games plus the TV and WiFi were convenient. The afternoon sun on the terrace was relaxing and beautiful. The holiday park was small but very friendly. We went swimming in the pool every day and couldn’t believe how close we were to the beach (would’ve taken advantage of that more had the weather been a touch warmer, alas!) The facilities close by (as signposted by Shirley) were fab - harbour, walks and shopping complex. We had a day trip to Battle (1066 Battle of Hastings) which was great and interesting for the whole family. Very much recommend staying with Shirley and will likely stay again ourselves! Such a clean well equipment holiday home. Very comfortable, home from home surroundings, highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Maria's 70's caravan. Very cosy with beautiful views of the field opposite, this time with grazing sheep! Maria and Matt are great hosts. Highly recommend.

Great location, stones throw from the beach, lovely walk to Pevensey Castle. Comfy beds, massive sofas! Lovely wood burner. Had a lovely time

As per all the other reviews here, we also felt that John is a great host and we appreciated the special personal welcome and run through of the house. We also loved the kitchen and the dining table in the bright conservatory. Sitting in the pretty and large garden was very relaxing, especially because there were no sounds, except the odd dog or seagull. There are raspberries growing at the end of the garden, a lovely surprise. The location is great to explore nearby Bodiam Castle (highly recommended), Hastings, Winchelsea and Rye.

Lovely place to stay for our 4 night break with our 2 dogs. Amazing location so close to the beach and sea wall walk. We were lucky to have great weather so could do loads of walks eg Rye Harbour, Camber Sands, Hastings Country Park , Winchelsea. Well fitted home. Nice to have welcome goodies. Lovely responsive host and family. Small loss of privacy from adjacent properties which was not a significant issue. Bright property even if blinds are closed. Would stay again.

Fabulous place to stay right by the beach and not too far from Rye. The house had everything we needed to cook in and was a perfect layout for an extended family to relax and socialise. The garden was a good size with a lovely hammock and table tennis table too. We all had a great time and would highly recommend this as a place to stay. Our third stay and just as wonderful as those prior! An idyllic property and area. Always pristine with a wonderfully large/pretty/safe garden for our two dogs. The area is beautifully peaceful and has some fabulous local walks, and it’s well placed for travelling to various nearby towns and beaches. A perfect trip for a change of scenery and some much needed downtime. Looking forward to our fourth trip later in the year!
