Holiday rentals with lake access in Ireland

We had an amazing stay at Caroline and Patrick's! Even though the weather wasn't great, there was so much for us and the kids to do! The pool was fantastic, basketball, tennis, etc- something for all of us. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. The bed linen was so soft and the mattresses very comfortable. The indoor fire was also very special. We were so grateful for our stay, and can't wait to visit again! Simply can't recommend enough!

Fantastic house in a stunning location. Everything you need is available, very clean. Philip is a great host and very helpful. A place where we will certainly go on vacation again.

What a gorgeous place to stay. Beautiful views surrounding the place. A nice, peaceful stay outside of the city. Cara was very helpful and responsive. The sauna was relaxing and a perfect way to end a day of trekking.

Noreen met us on arrival and made is feel right at home. The cottage was clean and tidy and everything that we needed was provided for. We loved the location, a quiet and natural setting in the midst of the countryside. We would recommend it as a great place to stay.

We were 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids aged 6-8. Spent a wonderful few days here. House is clean and new with lots of space for the kids. Big garden for playing too. 2 minute drive down to Lough Hyne (walkable too but probably not with young kids). Good base to explore West Cork

This house definitely has to be one of the best locations for a property, down a quiet country lane with a private pier onto Lough Ree, it was breathtaking! Judith was so lovely to deal with and quick at responding to messages. They left us clear directions for using all of the items in the house and we had a lovely time. Perfect house to bring doggos and kids. We had our kayaks and SUPS to make use of the lake and were able to watch the sunset from the pier, a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be saving this house for future trips! Thanks so much Chris & Judith!

Thanks Patrick. We loved every minute of our stay in your beautiful spacious home in it's stunning setting. Was so nice to get away from the hustle & bustle and catch up with our pals with stunning scenery all around. We really enjoyed the kayaks, Ping Pong, archery & barbecuing in the garden. Hoping to return again :)

We had a super stay at Willie's place. The apartment was very stylish and comfy and had everything we needed including a great coffee machine. The pizzas (and pints) in the pub downstairs were delicious! Will definitely return in future.

We had a lovely couple of days at Marilyn's place. The space was lovely and had everything you would need, so many little extras which made a difference. The bed was comfy & the woodfire so nice to snuggle up in front of. Marilyn & her hubby were so friendly & welcoming, and then there were the doggos... Ted & his mates were so delightful. We highly recommend Marilyn's place for a relaxing stay on a working farm & close to town.

My 9 years old daughter and I fell in love with this place... It is as incredible as Gerard is a beautiful soul. We loved everything about it and a part of our hearts will romain there. Thank you Gerard to be what you are, some one special every one would love to encounter. We will miss you and your amazing farm. We will definetly come Black soon. The Cosy Cottage was absolutely perfect for our base to explore Donegal. It is very close to several beautiful spots and a short drive to many others. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Donna and her family were wonderful hosts. I would rebook this cottage in the future without hesitation. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's cottage - it was so quiet and peaceful we didn't want to leave! The views are just stunning from the large windows, it really is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax yet is still just a short drive to Donegal town if you need anything. We really enjoyed the local walk to see the lakes. Best air bnb we have been in by far! A very special place indeed!

“A place we keep coming back to” This was our second time staying at this beautiful cottage, and once again it was an absolute delight. We returned for the peace, the breathtaking views, and the serene atmosphere that surrounds the home. Nestled in the heart of Connemara National Park, the location is truly special – with sheep calmly grazing all around, it feels like a world away from everyday life. The cottage itself is cosy and inviting, with a lovely fireplace that makes evenings warm and relaxing. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and full of charm. It truly feels like coming home – but in the heart of the Irish wilderness. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. We’ll definitely be back.

As a family of six we really enjoyed our stay. Gerry was very helpful when needed and responded promptly to a few queries I had. We enjoyed taking the boat out onto the lake, it was so peaceful. The cottage was spotless with modern appliances and very comfortable. Two little dogs were so friendly and my teens were delighted petting them. I would stay again.

The cottage was absolutely spectacular, and exactly as described - located just inside Killarney National Park, the grounds are beautiful and it's an easy walk (or short drive) to local restaurants, shops, the INEC, and Killarney town center. The cottage itself was gorgeous and very well appointed, and we very much appreciated the small touches - some coffee, tea, and biscuits for us to enjoy! We met Eileen just after check-in, where she gave us a quick but thorough tour of the cottage and shared some great conversation about the area and the event we were in town for. Thank you so much, Eileen & John, for an excellent week and we'd love to be back!

We had a wonderful time at Emily's cottage. Everything was perfect and very cozy and clean. It was very easy to find and the instructions were very clear. We recommend it!

Absolutely beautiful little cottage and garden, well kept and had everything we needed, and Araceli and Mir were friendly and responsive. We had a great weekend exploring the local hills, lake and towns - only wish we had stayed longer!
