Sakuranbo Kan is a private Japanese-style modern guest house in a renovated Taisho-era building that takes advantage of the retro atmosphere.

Perfect place for exploring Nagano and the local area. Nagano is a beautiful town with lots to see including the temple and shopping. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything for a pleasant stay (we are a family of four with two teenage boys). Glendy was a super host even checking in with us after a small earthquake. Highly recommend!

KIRISIMIZU Guest House

Kei's house was perfect for our quick overnight. It was a really cool experience to stay in an old japanese house. The house stayed warm with the wood burning stove and space heaters. We plan to come back again!

Elegant, secluded cabin for couples & families

It was our third time booking with Matt and Maya, and second time booking this particular cabin - we wish we could return to it much more often! Matt and Maya were responsive and helpful as ever, with clear and quick advice and guidance for any and all situations - including bus directions for when we didn’t have a car this time. Thank you!

Scandinavian-style wooden house for only one group

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Toshi & Hiro are wonderful hosts, gave us a very warm welcome and good bye on the departure day, extremely friendly, excellent and timely communicators, willing to help setting up a dedicated itinerary (including detailed bus schedules), to Nagano and other attractions in the proximity of the city, based on our personal interests. Extremely well organized, with lots of helpful and relevant maps, locations, guidance and directions that are already printed. Toshi volunteered to make calls and identified a specialized store where we could purchase a traditional Shigaraki ceramic we fell in love with during our stay in Japan. The only regret we have is our stay at their beautiful wooden house (very well equipped for all needs) was too short. Thank you Toshi & Hiro for offering us a memorable experience, and we look forward to coming back!
