Beachfront holiday rentals in Somerset

We had a fantastic week at Tim's place. We went with our daughter, son-in-law, grandson and dog. It was a very comfortable stay for us all and was very handy to all the shops and restaurants. The beach was literally just across the road too. Recommend The Cat's Whiskers restaurant for food, but you need to book. The Crispies chip shop was also excellent and Pebbles bar. There really wasn't anything to find fault with. Tim was very accommodating when we asked for an earlier check-in and we loved his cottage. Highly recommended.

we like bed out weekend stay in Watchet. my 6-year old wanted to move in permanently! very peaceful location a literal stones throw from the beach, cosy house with great views and everything needed for a nice stay. the living room was particularly nice with big comfy sofas, toys and colouring books etc for the kids and even a selection of records to keep the adults entertained. We loved it.

Great apartment clean and everything that you would need available. Short walk to the beach making it great for the dogs.

What a fantastic find this was. The Snug was just as it suggests. A lovely fully equipped space that we just loved staying at. Amy as the host was fantastic and made sure everything was just as it should be. The location is amazing - we stayed for two nights with our dog and made use of the beaches for walking and then a lovely quiet evening in a fantastically well equipped space - whether you want to self cater, bring in a takeaway this has everything you need. Booked Jo's flat looking for somewhere to stay for a few days walking and really pleased I did! Immaculately clean, very well equipped, warm, beautiful rooms and even more beautiful views. Jo replied to my queries almost immediately and was the perfect host. Can't recommend this property highly enough, it's ideal for this area, within a few minutes walk of both restaurants, pubs, the sea, the beach, the park, the harbour, woods, coast path - you name it. Many thanks for a memorable weekend.

We, as a young family of 5 have just returned from a really enjoyable stay at Pauls place. Location was spot on, the accommodation was very clean, and modern, with plenty of strorage for our belongings. The kids loved the games and books avaliable for them to use, and we had everything we needed to make it home from home. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would love to visit again

The caravan is lovely and cozy, and the park was very well kept with excellent facilities (including a dog exercise area) We particularly liked watching the sunset from the Bay cafe with a G&T! The walk to Minehead along the South West Coastal Path (recommended by Pamela) was beautiful.

The best chalet we have stayed in. Spotless, lovely furnishings, super comfy bed and sofas. Great shower and well equipped kitchen and appliances. Could not fault this chalet. Lovely campsite, great position up high looking out over the sea for sunsets. Great base for exploring the area.

We really enjoyed the stay at Butlins. We had a fantastic time. The shows were good. The food at the resort was excellent and the staff there was always friendly and helpfull.

Lovely apartment. Warm, very comfortable and great to have access to the lovely pool every day and to be so close to the beach! Received several recommendations from the host for pub lunches which was really helpful. Close to several lovely beaches, a wonderful zoo and Dunster Castle.

A lovely, clean and comfortable caravan.

There were six of us on a golf trip so we each had our own bedroom and plenty of space to relax in the evening. Jenny's place was perfect for us.

We’ve stayed at Haven a lot, but this was the first time we booked via a private owner. Jan’s communication was excellent from the moment we booked. The caravan was clean & was easy to access. There was 4 of us, 2 adults & 2 children. We know Burnham-On-Sea well, so knew what was there to do etc. Would definitely book with Jan again.

We’ve stayed at Matthew’s caravan before and always have an excellent time - it’s out of the main area by the lakes which means with two small children it’s peaceful at night, and the caravan is comfortable and exactly as described.

Easy, simple, exactly what we needed!

Visited Sumerset with family for the Easter break. Booked Sunita & Leon’s accommodation and it was a great experience. Host was very helpful throughout, communicated all information and checking was smooth. House was spotless and very clean with enough room space and all you could need for a family stay - enjoyed the hot tub with family as well and the environment was great and short minutes away from attractions. Highly recommended host! I’ll visit again definitely!

The accommodation is exactly as described. It is spotlessly clean as well as nice and airy. The double aspect bifold doors are a gret bonus, looking out as they do towards Wales in the north and towards Exmoor to the west. The sunsets are wonderful. The accommodation is well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Ian is a superb and accommodating host and communication is easy and quick. The lodge is very easy to find and easy to gain access to via the lock box. It is in easy reach of a large number of local attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would readily go back.

Great little hotel on the sea front. Very close to the town centre with some excellent restaurants especially good Indian (Chandri).

We had an amazing stay at the pod at East Quay to celebrate our anniversary. Living in London, we were looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind, unplug, and recharge. This was perfect—we even stayed an extra night! As creatives, we loved the artistic elements of the space, from the artist’s studios and exhibitions to the shop selling sketchbooks and journals. The pod itself was unique, with details like the beautiful wood carvings. One thing to note is that food options can be limited during the off-season—nowhere was open for food around 3pm on a Sunday—so plan ahead or bring snacks. We did find a great fish and chip shop in Minehead, about 17 minutes away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, creative escape! We will definitely be back :)

Unfortunately we only managed a few days of our Christmas week's break at the bungalow due to family illness. However, we were so glad that we did get there for the end of the holiday as it was the perfect peaceful place to relax and de-stress. The dog was also in absolute heaven with the big enclosed garden and fab beach walks right on the doorstep . Annabel was very helpful too and we hope to return before long.

Absolutely amazing place. We had a small issue with the door but not only were we told about that at check in they also helped us figure out hey the key works. Amazing location and flat.
