Chalet holiday rentals in Somerset

We had a superb 4 night stay at The Victorian Barns, staying in the lovely Lodge. The property was set in beautiful private grounds with its own larger indoor heated swimming pool, huge activity barn (complete with table tennis and badminton court) and plenty of land and lakes to walk our two Springer Spaniels around! Our host Claire gave us lots of information before our stay and also answered any questions that we had during our time there. Their on site EV charger was a god send allowed us to to-up our car at the end of the day after trips out. All in all we loved our stay and we hope to visit again soon!

This caravan was beautiful and homely with lovely views and places to visit and explore within walking distance or a short drive. The caravan was spotless and very welcoming! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The place was amazing!! Very private, great responses from Kevin and his daughter Jasmine they were very friendly. Bed was super comfy and lots of storage if you are planning to stay for a week/longer. We will definitely be coming again. The hot tub was a bonus and explained very clearly how to use it! Super flexible check in time!

Wonderful lodges, excellent friendly hosts. Made for a perfect getaway. Surrounded by stunning scenery, easy access to walking into the town or on nature trails. Really it doesn’t get better than this! You will love the area and the home from home lodges. The hosts truly have thought of everything. Perfect.

We had a lovely stay. The cabin is really homely and the host was great. Scones were very tasty and a great treat when we got there. It’s a brilliant base for touring we could be at either north or south coast or into Cornwall within an hour or so. The cabin is really well equipped had everyone we needed and we all slept really well. Lovely setting.

This was a great find in a beautiful and quiet setting. The chalet is very well equipped with a lovely garden and views to enjoy and within easy reach of the sea (10-15 minute walk) plus scenic Exmoor and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything Kimberly, we would love to visit again in the future.

Christina was a fantastic host. The chalet was beautiful, clean and peaceful. The little extra touches were a nice surprise when we arrived. The kids loved the cows, hot tub and games room and Christina and her farm team were always so friendly answering all our questions and allowing the kids to see the calves. A very enjoyable stay.
