Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rome

This is the perfect place to stay in Rome! in the middle of a lively and beautiful neighbourhood, full with places to eat and drink. All the main central spots are within a walking distance. Everything was as described, and a very kind and wellcoming host! Thank you, Germana! We really enjoed our stay!

Very convenient and walkable to the basilica, we love our stay, felt like home. My family was very happy we were few minutes away from the Vatican. Maurizio the host is very responsive and flexible also Christina whom waited for us at the entrance of the building made us feel more confident on our stay. She gave us instructions and recommended a lot of places where to eat, how to take the bus, what number etc. our second day we were experts taking public transportation and walking around the neighborhood. And honestly everything is within walkable distance, from luxury shopping to any Shop, and restaurants! Over all my family had the best time!

All wonderful, we felt at home, great place quickly we would arrive at the coliseum and restaurants!!

We had a great stay at Maria Teresa's place! The location is just fantastic, close to everything and the Metro, very peaceful at night. We were a family of four, with 2 teenagers. It was the perfect amount of space for us all, giving us a great space to start and end our days, and retire to between site seeing. Its a beautiful, fully vintage space on the almost top floor, we made use of all of it, from the small balcony looking onto the courtyard behind the apt to the private patio. It looks just like the pictures -- its cozy and welcoming. The bathrooms and kitchen were perfectly clean, the beds really comfortable, everything we needed was available. Maria Teresa and her colleague Karina got us settled quickly and gave fantastic recommendations for restaurants -- these were terrific and really made our stay 10+. Its situated in a very high end part of Rome, for the price and location, it can't really be beat. We were just sad to leave and are planning our next trip to Italy soon!

Sssh. Don’t let anyone else know about this place! We have truly discovered an absolute gem. A wonderful, helpful host, and a beautiful apartment in the most spectacular location. Simply magnificent. Inside the apartment all is serene. Spotlessly clean, superb accommodation with all you could need to make your time in Rome complete. Views from the window over the Pantheon and Piazza della Rotunda make this place truly magical. Step outside and you are right in the heart of historic Rome. I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough and hope that Chiara will do us the honour of allowing us to stay hear again when we next visit the Eternal City.

The house flat is very well appointed and has a lovely outdoor space (tables, couch, tv). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is a very modern space, and well decorated. However, there are small signs older infrastructure (there was a mildew smell in the primary bathroom that carried through the room). This might be common in the center of Rome and the older plumbing. The appointments made by the owner made this space perfect for what we needed.

Really lovely apartment, much bigger than the photos show. Great location, wonderful restaurants nearby. Our favourite was Tacito, literally across the road. Lucas was very helpful and responsive to all our queries. Beds were comfortable.

Super conveniently located and despite the proximity to the train station nice restaurants and cafes recommended by Marco. Marco personally welcomed us and could give us valuable tips Not a sterile place to stay, but an apartment with character. We would come back.

Andrea was extremely helpful leading up to our stay with providing multiple options for transportation to the AirBnB. He was very responsive to messages. Carlota was very helpful with check in and responsive with messages and Arnel helped us a lot when we ran into a little snag with hot water. The outdoor space is lovely although it is quite nosey at night given the location. We really enjoyed our stay!

The accommodation is in a great location, metro and tram station are in the immediate vicinity. The place was very clean and had everything you need. Check-in and check-out also worked smoothly. We are very satisfied.

The apartment is very close to everything and you can walk to many sightseeing places. Max was very thorough with instructions and local recommendations.

Cozy apartment, the bus stops you can say "at the door". We were treated to pastries, jam and bread for toast, there was water and milk in the fridge! It was so nice. We were greeted in the middle of the night and I really appreciate it. The heating turned on automatically in the evening and it was warm in the early morning. I would recommend it boldly.

As always it was a pleasure to stay here. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped . There are touches that lots of AirBnb's miss. They have a place for your toiletries in the bathroom, Places to hang your towels, small things that make a big difference. The apartment is so private with a nice terrace and very comfortable. I want to stay longer here . Location is great with so much at your fingertips. Will definitely be back.

We loved staying in this apartment! It’s located in the amazing Trastevere neighbourhood, where you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Giorgio was great, and gave amazing recommendations for Rome as well! One thing to look out for is that the apartment is only accessible by a couple flights of stairs — it was a little tiring, but everything else about the apartment more than made up for it. Giorgio was also kind enough to help carry our bags during check-in :)

The place was well-equipped and surprisingly comfortable. Very recommended.

Stefano’s place was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The location on the 6th floor offers stunning views that are truly unforgettable. I especially loved the hot tub and terrace, where I spent every evening relaxing. The place was spotless, and they even let us drop off our bags the morning we arrived. I give Stefano’s place 5 stars, and we’ll definitely book again when we visit. It felt just like home!

Cosy apartment with real fire

Alessandro is a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. The property is beautiful and so quiet, which is a nice way to land after a long travel day. I found some delicious and affordable restaurants nearby and managed to easily take the train or bus to the city center.

After a stressful airport journey it was nice to meet Alessandro’s mother who welcomed us and showed us around the place. It is a very warm and intimate place - perfect for 2 people. The area has walkable grocery stores, restaurants and cafe’s and a beautiful mall within a 10 minute drive. Although it was nice to stay in February, I would definitely recommend visiting in the summer time :))

Domus's place was immaculate, beautiful, and situated in a breathtaking location. The host was kind and helpful. It is a great place to book if you are interested in staying near Rome, but away from the crowds.

Giuseppe's house was amazing! It was perfect for our trip to Rome with 9 people. We traveled with 4 kids and they loved the yard and pool (although we didn't swim in it because the weather was a bit too cold). We rented a car and drove into Rome. It was about a 30 minute drive to the Parcheggio Saba Villa Borghese where we could take a bus or metro to anywhere we wanted in Rome. It was nice to stay outside the city, but be close enough to get in easily. Giuseppe and Flavia were responsive hosts and helped us out a lot. Highly recommend this place!
