Holiday rentals with breakfast in Sicily

We were there with our little baby in March. Everything was in bloom and we felt like we were in the Garden of Eden. It's very quiet, just a few times a day a train passes by. The dog is very intimate, especially with our baby. You can spend wonderfully whole days on the property: there is a small children's playground, a beautiful pool overlooking the hills and fields, an olive grove, a vegetable and herb garden, a beautiful shaded terrace, a barbecue area. A perfect place for us as a family, or even for couples or friends. We had the whole place to ourselves - so if you travel alone, you have to like the solitude. :-) The Valle dei Templi in Agrigento is 40 minutes by car, as well as some beautiful beaches and the Scala dei Turchi. In short: a beautiful place with great value for money. Communication with the hosts was very easy.

We stayed one night here. Guiseppe welcomed us warmly and explained everything. He also gave us tips for the area, really great! The apartment is a bit older, but everything worked and it was clean. For breakfast, we were even provided with milk and other "sweet" things. By car, you can reach 10 minutes to the city and the salt mill can also be reached in approx. 15 minutes by car.

Our favorite place that we have stayed in Sicily. A retreat from the busy cities but close enough to go and see tourist attractions, the beach and eat wonderful food. We loved sitting quietly and reading as well as walking around the home and of course, the outdoor bbq. Perfect place to eat bbq sunset meals and listen to nature. We felt well cared for, the cottage had everything we needed, recommendations were excellent. Make sure to visit the bakery in Santa Rita! Caltanisetta was also a welcoming and beautiful place. Thank you so much, we hope to return and stay much longer!

it was a beautiful stay. close to the sea and nicely located. Everything was perfect! Valentina was quick to respond to the questions we had, in short perfect. if we are in the area again we will definitely return.

I couldn’t recommend Collesano and Francesco’s house more as a base for discovering this beautiful part of Sicily. If you want to experience the true, unspoiled, and touristically untouched Sicily — yet still be close to beautiful beaches — go for it! It’s a great base for exploring the Madonie National Park, enjoying affordable Italian food, and connecting with the warm and welcoming Sicilian people. Francesco was more than helpful with his advice, and the house is spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the rooftops of Collesano and the mountains. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a great time in Cefalu. A little bit outside of the crowded town, up the hill with a great view. Enjoyed it a lot!

We were unfortunately unable to stay at the original accommodation, but the hosts went above and beyond to assist us. They were incredibly kind, communicative, and proactive in finding a solution, ultimately offering us another beautiful apartment for the night. Their hospitality and generosity made all the difference, and we truly appreciated their efforts. Highly recommend P&G for their outstanding service and care!

Stayed here in this quaint little seaside village off the beaten track only for 3 nights and wish we had more time. I don’t quite get what that negative review was about because this house split between 2 floors was so perfectly styled & furnished with everything you need. Definitely not your typical Sicilian holiday home. So much space in both apartments with an incredible rooftop overlooking MtEtna - & weren’t we lucky this time to see it alive. Amazing pool with lushes green gardens. Kids loved it! Great local restaurants & bars right along the water. It was about a 30min drive to Taormina but I tell you we all much preferred hanging out in this village going for an evening walk along the sea. Great experience. Real Sicily. Recommend. We loved our stay here! The apartment ist super cozy and very clean and we felt very comfortable here. Roberta was amazing. She was very nice and super accommodating with early check in and late check out. She provided us with lots of snacks and drinks and took the time to give us some great restaurant and sightseeing tips. We definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Catania!

I was able to enjoy the time in your wonderful apartment. Right in the center of the old town yet quiet at night. A good espresso in the morning and in the evening sun on the balcony a glass of wine, thank you!!

The apartment is in a fantastic location right in the heart of the city. Very close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Everything within walking distance. Despite being above the fish market, it was very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were really helpful with checking in early and recommendations and help with planning trips around the area. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Flawless accommodation as was Michele. The accommodation is located 2 steps from the center, clean, well organized and equipped with all comforts. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This apartment is an easy walk to the parking garage and then it was an elevator ride up to Taormina where there were lots of restaurants, shops and sights to see and of course beautiful views. Elisa greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful in getting us oriented. She responded quickly when we had questions. There was parking right on site which was really nice. We had a wonderful time exploring Taormina and Mount Etna and Casa Vacanze Maruca was a perfect base for our adventure.

The apartment is ideal for up to 6 people. Due to the fact that there are two bathrooms and a large kitchen, really ideal. The host is very attentive and friendly and quick to respond to messages. Everything was perfect for us. The area itself is only interesting for the night. With public transport you can quickly get to town. This one is of course fantastic.

Massimo's directions to his address were accurate per Google Maps. The location is favorable with a nearby bus stop, a wonderful restaurant, and a lovely grotto. A stairway to the apartment is necessary due to the mountain-side terrain. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining table most gracious. Every evening, we enjoyed wine on the balcony over-looking the city and the bay with Mt. Etna visible in the background. The beds are very comfortable, and the linens are soft and new. The first bedroom has great views, but unfortunately, the second bedroom has no views, due again to the the mountain-side aspect. Our touring included a short bus ride up to Castlemola, a fascinating medieval town over-looking Taormina; the ancient arena and Corso Umberto in Taormina; a Godfather tour provided by Sicily Adventures; and last but not least, a visit to Mt. Etna via cable car and volcanic-site worthy "bus". We thank our wonderful host! Massimo is friendly and attentive in every way.

Had a wonderful experience staying here and hope to do so again in the future. Accomodation was clean, neat and modern. Location was perfect, close to amenities and main area. Francesco was always available to help and check in and out was super easy, Thankyou Francesco!

Superclass accommodation in Marsala to experience, for example, the sunset in the saltworks or a winery tour from there. The place was bigger than expected and super clean. At first, we were a little irritated to be part of the house, but we especially liked that in the end. The large garden with the (warm) pool could also be used. The reception was already super warm and this special kindness accompanied us the entire time. We felt more than comfortable and enjoyed the conversations very much. However, not for cat allergy sufferers, as approx. 20 cats run around the property. But that was also an enrichment….

The room was exactly as shown in the picures. We staues for one night in mid july. Ragusa Ibla is a cute romantic Spot with beautiful views, good restaurants and surprisingly not crowded. Had a great Stay at Emilio’s place. Would definetly come back!

I had very good stay in Giuseppe’s place for two nights. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. I like the breakfast that owner made very much, especially the Cappuccino. I would like to recommend to anyone who visit Agrigento.

Great stay in a wonderful place, close to the sea and Zingaro reserve. Lovely host, delicious breakfasts, daily cleaned room. Definitely above expectations.
