Cottage holiday rentals in Sicily

The location of the house, the house, the pool and the terrace - everything was great. It was certainly one of the nicest and quietest homes. I can only recommend it. Lusovico's service is also top. I don't know what to write negative The 800m road to the house is easy to drive in my eyes. If you can't drive this road - you should hand over your driver's license to the next grandma or always take the train. Dear Ludovico, Thank you for the mega service and the great support in the accident of my wife. We will be back. Absolutely.

We had a very nice time at the Tenuta Carabollace, enjoying the beautiful place where each corner is carefully arranged, the great view and magical sand beach with very clean water 5 min from the house. Everything you need as a family with kids is offered at the place -from beach /pool toys to a washing machine and beautiful domestic animals. Can highly recommend the place and hope to be able to come back another time.

Beautifully manicured property. Breathtaking views. Salvatore from the management company was extremely helpful and kind. Really loved our stay and the town of Cefalu. Only negative was a loud barking dog nearby that barked at all hours, night and day.

Antonio is a very attentive person if needed and very helpful. We even got a little taste gift from around the corner . An ideal and quiet setting to rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend Thank you very much

We had the most lovely stay at this charming farmhouse with pool! The host was so kind and helpful. She arranged for a private dinner for us poolside and gave many recommendations for sightseeing.

We were in search of a rustic and remote side of Sicily, and Monica's place did not disappoint. Despite being within the same grounds as the main house, the little villa provides the perfect privacy with views of the infinity pool and gardens. As mentioned in many other reviews, Ciccio the Labrador is friendly and charming. He will come to your terrace and doorways but is well trained not to enter the house and is a soppy and playful boy. The decor and styling of the house is gorgeous with ample space to feel right at home. There was an issue with the boiler, but Monica was proactive to find solutions. Staying there in November meant chilly evenings but the AC unit worked really well as a heater and extra bedding was provided. We can't wait to come back in warmer months to make fuller use of the pool which Monica so generously shares with guests.

Enzo and Alessandra’s home and hospitality were amazing! They were so welcoming and warm, we felt like they were family the moment we met them. They made sure we understood all of the areas of the home, gave us local recommendations, and went above and beyond anytime we had questions. The house is an absolute dream, nestled in the countryside of Nicosia. We enjoyed espresso in the garden daily, took naps in the hammock and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the garden Enzo works so hard to maintain. The bedrooms were private, comfortable and clean. The house itself is just stunning, both inside and out. Thank you so much Enzo and Alessandra for everything you did for us!

Amazing airbnb, very stylish and comfortable. The only thing I wish I checked was the immediate outside space - it is located on the main street so the traffic noise was almost constant so it wasn’t possible to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. However, that’s my bad planning! Flora is very responsive and gives you lots of details of places to go and do around the area. Can’t fault the host. The garden is full of trees and plants too which is beautiful.

We wish there was a higher rating than 5-stars - we had an amazing time at Dario’s place and wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment is beautiful, even better than the photos, with incredible views in both directions, high ceilings, lots of light, clean, cozy, and warmly decorated. Plenty of additional amenities are included. The location is great, walkable to a beach cove, restaurants, or a quick drive to a beautiful, little town. Dario exceeded the definition of a super host. He kept in touch with us daily, sending us videos of recommendations for restaurants, tours, and places to visit - all of which were wonderful and made us fall in love with Sicily. We can’t wait to come back!

Dear Giuseppe, we really enjoyed the stay at your guesthouse. Despite the trouble we gave you (you know what I mean, sorry again!) your wife and you were incredibly kind and friendly and helpful. We loved the fresh and ripe Oranges and Lemons very much. The flowers in the backyard were in full bloom during our stay which we really liked. We also really appreciated the possibility to check-out a little bit later due of our flight schedule. All in all I absolutely recommend everybody staying with you! This house is in a beautiful and quiet spot. Flavia will give you great recommendations to local restaurants and shops. As it says in the listing, you do really need a car here as you're not even in a village, but when you do have a car you then have easy access to Cefalù, Parco delle Madonie and smaller local towns. This was an emergency three night stay for us, as we had a cancellation elsewhere, but the house ended up being our favourite of the three places we stayed. The house itself has beautiful tiles throughout (no doubt due to Flavia's ceramicist father), an excellently stocked kitchen equipment cupboard, comfortable furnishings and wonderful outdoor spaces. Flavia even arranged for the pool to be opened early for us. She was one of the best Airbnb hosts I have met. Thank you!

Dario has an amazing place. somewhere to unwind and enjoy everything Sicily has to offer. Dario is the perfect host and makes you feel at home in the beautiful surroundings.

Marion is the most wonderful host - friendly, warm and very approachable. We enjoyed all the snacks she prepared and the delicious recommendations in the nearby town Castelbuono. We loved our stay in her detached stone cottage - beautiful surroundings and interiors, it was perfect and wished we could stay longer!

It was a real fantastic accommodation, outside the hustle and bustle of city life we found this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The view is amazing and Giuseppe the best host you can get, very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!

Lovely little cottage with a lovely private outdoor area. The pool is great. Biagio is very kind and the communication was impeccable. We got very tasty cakes on the day of arrival and departure. An attention that we were very happy about. The place was sparkling clean! You should have a car to easily reach the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

Agata's star house was a really cozy place to unwind! With their many tips, we met many great places and people in Polizzi Generosa ☺️ Palermo and Cefalú are also quickly accessible, which brings variety (it rained a lot with us and the house was often in the clouds / fog). Amazing place. Recycled house with lots of amenities. The view is absolutely amazing. Very close to booking ( 300 or 400 mts from entrance ). The village of Scopello is very nice and small. The bathrooms are great. The only comment is that the address on Airbnb does not guide you to the house. Ask for the location by cell phone from the owner before arriving, because they will not be lost like us upon arrival. On the other hand, if you add a few glass glasses instead of the plastic ones, with little improvement. Totally recommendable.

The girls were fabulous & very helpful, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, sharing the fascinating history of the Villa and organizing a car for us🙏. We feel very lucky indeed to have the chance to be part of this amazing place for few days, We will treasure the memories forever 🙏 ☺️.

we had a wonderful stay at the house and especially delighted that the Pool was already open and ready to be used. Really nice surroundings, the only downsight were the neighbours dogs barking at night. The kitchen area had everything to make some simple meals.

We, 2 adults & 2 children (3.5 & 1.5), enjoyed the stay very much. We particularly appreciated the spacious living room with the open kitchen, the covered outdoor area with large dining table and of course the garden. The children played outside a lot - since the property is well fenced, you could also just let it run. The location of the house is unique: the sea on one side, the mountains on the other, plus an incredible amount of wildflowers (we were there at the beginning of April). Unique! Highly recommended for nature-loving people!

Lovely location, wonderful view, spacious home and beautiful garden with pool

The three of us were allowed to spend two wonderful weeks in Sicily in Guglielmos Villa Vendicari. The villa itself is exactly as we imagined it: unique accommodation in a very quiet location with lots of nature. In the immediate vicinity are some fantastic beaches in the Vendicari nature reserve. Towards the end, we were very lucky to meet the very warm host as a direct neighbor with his friendly dog Igor in person. Guglielmo was not only very helpful, but also provided with regional delicacies (homemade pistachio paste, wine from the neighbor and delicious tarts for breakfast). In addition, the communication was extremely good at all times. Guglielmo was always available, gave helpful tips and was very careful that we didn't miss anything and that we felt completely comfortable. Even a little getting to know good wine, nothing stood in the way. All in all, we were very happy and will definitely be back :)

Wow wow wow! This is the most beautiful, nicest, and cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. You can tell this place was built with love. The private off grid setting was beyond anything we could’ve expected. The cabin was well equipped. We had no trouble with the solar lights or showers. I hate to repeat myself, but this place immaculately clean. We enjoyed a few days here and were so sad to leave. This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. We are already talking about coming back. The town of Buccheri is beautiful and had every amenity we needed. We were even able to catch the small farmers market. There’s a great pastry shop in town as well! You must give this place a try! What a beautiful gem!

We enjoyed it very much. The accommodation is in an absolutely quiet location with a fantastic view over the city. We spent hours sitting on the balcony and admiring the scenery. Everything was also as described in the accommodation. Everything clean and working. The only point of criticism is the somewhat difficult journey, as you have to err on very steep narrow roads to find it. But Marta also helped us very well there and described the way to us until we were there!
